I appreciate the way they reimagined the space -- elegant enough but still very approachable as a "bistro" should be. Service was really stellar, from the welcome all the way through -- friendly, engaging but not intrusive, good read on our preferred pace and thoughtful recommendations. Food quality and flavors were quite good, menu had some fun, innovative options, perhaps a couple more "basics" could be helpful. The "Large Plates" were not quite...

Chose Penny flower for something new and it didn't disappoint. Tried a little off of every part of the menu, cocktails, small paltes, mains and deserts. Great flavors, portions and service.

The food last night at Pennyflower was delicious! I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had the Smash Burger and an enormous bunch of perfect fries. But the service was really slow. Our server was nice and friendly, but disappeared for long periods of time. Our concern about that was heightened by our need to get to a performance at Music Hall. Also the noise level was really loud for most of the time but moderated after one group left.
