Literally the best Steak N Shake I’ve ever had. Totally different experience. Food was hot, cooked properly and fast. Love the new tallow fries and the onion rings were addictive. Definitely will be back soon.

There are a few of these restaurants left, and this one seems to be one of the better ones. Our onion rings and fries were both hot and completely done, which should be the norm at a restaurant, but it often isn't. Our order was accurate and tastes like it should.
The kiosk is the only way to order when dining in. The drink situation confuses a lot of people. You get a ticket when your order at the kiosk. You use that ticket to scan at the self-serve soda fountain...

Went back once it opened and the food was terrible.. but figured they needed time to get things right and they did exactly that. We had lunch today 5/12/25 and the hamburgers were excellent the fries were cold wich shouldn't have been as close to lunchtime as we were. The onion rings were reminiscent of the old style frischs.. the drinks need their mixes adjusted but was still drinkable.
