Small restaurant with plenty of charm. When the owner is there, he greets you with a smile and seats you at a table. He then explains his specials and gives you a minute to decide your order as he gets you a drink. They serve old diner-style meals with your choice of bread. They will also give you a menu for other choices. Prefer the special as you get a nice variety. I had baked fish, mac-m- cheese and green beans. My mother raved about their salmon croquet's drizzled with cheese sauce. The past two time there was no room for parking, as their lot is small. I end up parking on the street with a meter. Either way, I like to support our local family-owned business in Cheviot.
