Taste of Belgium - Kenwood

I missed the waffle on the handheld, the sourdough was too soggy w butter, it's just wasn't the same. The fries sauce was great as usual but the fries themselves were short and limp, again just not what I remembered. Disappointed salads were not offered on a Saturday at 12:15. Not everyone wants brunch.

Sorry to the people who love this place but I wasn't impressed. Waitresses was kind of snarky when I was asking questions. I am a no carb no sugar person and I met a friend here for lunch (like I said not my kind of place)and had a lot of questions about possibly customizing my order and I guess I was to much for her. Anyways, if you like sugar and carbs, you will probably love this place.

The kenwood location was set for an event so it was half empty. How ever there were a number of service miscues. The food was spot on and delicious and did come out fast. I'd give it a second try for sure.

It seemed to be a nice environment but they must be short on employees. There was only one server in our area. She was good but was covering all the tables, the bar, the dessert area, and the bussing. As a result, our food took an hour to arrive and was not cooked properly. We don't anticipate returning any time soon.

They were out of steak so that took out the steak and eggs and the steak entree for me. The all you can eat mussels were an enormous portion that you are not allowed to take home as it is a potential health risk. I understand that, but then I heard them tell a table they were almost out of the mussel special and we were there early at 5pm. If it's all you can eat, half of my portion would have satisfied most. We loved the half priced wine, but the food and atmosphere was not as nice as other locations.

This restaurant for me is probably a one and done experience. Our server brought our food out and literally left before I could get a word out. A couple of us needed drink refills and a couple sides of ketchup, etc. Our brunch came out luke warm and the bacon was soaked in grease. I had to go find a employee 2 different times to get the things we needed because our server never came back to check on us until we were almost done with our meals. I agree with another review someone wrote about the server standing over you while you pay your bill. The atmosphere here is nice. The food quality not so nice. Service was slow when you did get service...

ToB has definitely gone downhill over the years. The chicken is consistently over cooked and the quality has just seemed to have declined. Will give another chance in a year or two.Update 3/31/24: This place has managed to get worse. Abysmal service and think I would have rather eaten fast food.

We were passing through Cincy, little did we know that there was a tornado warning so no one was out...we were the only ones in the restaurant. Great service, food was good portions were greater than usual, since we were the only patrons there.

Food was good as usual, but the service and the speed of the kitchen were pretty bad. Wasn't very busy, but no one seemed to care about getting anything done. I doubt we will be back to this location.

Ate here for the first time. It was really tasty. Our waiter was great. He suggested items on the menu and took our order quickly. He also checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The food tasted really good as well. Had the Bier Cheese (not pictured) as a starter and it was very tasty as well! Would definitely recommend as a nice brunch spot!

This place is CASHLESS. Never again.

We arrived at the restaurant and they told us they couldn't seat us without a reservation. I went on the app and booked a reservation for immediately, the app showed open tables every 15 minutes for the rest of the evening which made no sense. They were out of mussels which is why we came in. But the fish sandwich and fish & chips was very good and the service was great.

They won't accept cash, "To keep their staff safe" but that isn't the real reason. There is a lack of healthy options. The servers were very nice. I can't believe Belgium is like this.
