The Coffee Exchange of Pleasant Ridge

I live in the area and am so excited we got this coffee shop in town because we really needed one. I just got around to trying them for the first time this week. (I dont drink coffee very often). I took 1 star off because my cappuccino was only half filled and that was with the foam on top...HALF WAY. And the burrito was ice cold. Im assuming that's just how the food is done for you to warm it up. I am planning on giving this place another try because it just such a lovely place. So I will be back. The coffee was excellent. Loved it.

So cute! A lot of space to sit and work or hangout with friends. Employees were so nice when I told them it was my first time and explained the whole set up. Great place to hangout!

Large, modern coffee shop made with small town love & customer service! I have not had such a delicious coffee with such incredible pricing. I could not believe how favorable the prices were and how great the quality is. Delicious flavors, great baked goods. The people working are insanely sweet, and she consistently remembered my name. The way she interacts with her regulars makes you feel at home. Really love this place

I live fairly close to this location, but if I’m being honest, I stopped going for a while because I was getting some off vibes from the employees. That was disappointing, especially since I really like how open and inviting the layout is.
Over the last couple of weeks, though, I started coming back during my work-from-home days when I was having trouble focusing, and I can honestly say my mind has completely changed. Everyone has been friendly and more than willing to answer questions. On March 27, one of the employees took the time to walk me through what a London Fog actually is and helped me decide what to order.
Today, April 3, I noticed the same level of care again. The two women and one man working were genuinely kind with every customer, from complimenting outfits to making sure someone got a middle piece instead of a corner piece of the cookie bar. Those little details really matter to me, especially when deciding where to spend my money during tough times.
I worked in food service throughout high school and college, so I tend to expect the same level of care and sincerity that I gave when I was on the other side of the counter. Genuine and thoughtful service goes a long way, and that’s exactly what I experienced here. And on top of all that, the coffee is good.

This local business is a great place to hang out, with family-friendly vibes and excellent community. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and it has a cozy, semi-modern feel. The people make the place, and that makes this coffee shop that much better.

I LOVE this place! First, the food was AMAZING!!! I had a square cookie, and hot cocoa, and it was SO good,it felt like it was melting in my mouth! Next, the service! It was good, but it did take a while. Lasty, the atmosphere!!! It feels really cozy in there, but the bathrooms are kinda creepy. If you're bored, though, there are games there too!

Amazing. Modern and cozy combined, free water for when i get there after school. SUPER cheap prices that make it viable for me, and the food tastes so goodddd. The people there are very nice too. I cannot recommend it enough COFFE EXCHANHE FOR LIFE

I was just in Coffee Exchange to purchase a coffee. After my purchase (I tipped as usual) I asked for half and half and 7 cane sugars. The older stocky lady who has grey hair and glasses questioned me about giving me the sugar. She asked are you going to use all of the sugar because that's costly. She's very rude and has had the same demeanor every time I've patronized with them. Her obvious prejudice towards black people is deplorable as I've never seen her treat other patrons in this manner. I'll never spend another dollar in an establishment such as this one that employs and condones these types of employees.

My grandson wanted to meet hus friends after school for a beverage so we went on a Thursday afternoon. It was crowded from all the kids and parents but the staff was very well organized and the atmosphere was not chaotic from all the kids!😁 strawberry smoothie and flavored tea was delicious!

Conclusion- A cool newer feeling Coffee shop. Very clean and lots of space with a lot of big tables. A great place if you wanted to meet up with a group of friends. Also good if u want somewhere parking is not too hard to find. Would recommend drinks like Cappuccinos and Lattes.
