Wow! Gorgeous, welcoming space with a touch of Northside architecture in tiny patches of exposed wall. IngeniousKendra, the bartender is personable, attentive & according to the guys next to me makes the best cocktail everKind of weird to comment on the restrooms but they are seriously nice & the hand soap smells amazing ❤️Vegetarian options: I had the beer cheese & pretzel yumminess … but they have salads & plenty of choicesParking: Free street parking after meters turn off. Plenty of paid parking lots & street parking. It’s a popular area on the weekends

My friend and I magically stumbled upon this bar and I feel robbed that we just found it! It is beautiful on the inside with quality drinks and food. Highly recommended it. The bathrooms are also amazing, you have to go to know what I mean.

Great little spot! The theming was unique, it was very clean, and the cocktails were good. It’s not advertised, but they will make the cocktails into mocktails on request. Not too loud, so a fun place to hang out with friends and chat. There was a drink special when I went and it was pretty cool to get good drinks for so cheap! Good small bites with lots of cheese options!

Fantastic wine options, great bourbon selection, and yummy light bites, not to mention an unexpectedly good taco Tuesday! One of my favorite places in the neighborhood.

Had an hour to kill before the fundraiser event started. Loved the vibe and atmosphere of this space. Just beautiful inside. Learned it was only 5 years old. Nice selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Will be back!

Nestled in amongst the Hamilton Ave old commercial buildings, this place has charm. Patio is roomy while the inside is cozy. No loud music so conversation can survive. Service was very good but the kitchen was slightly off on their timing as my wife's tacos came out quickly but my brats took longer to get out. No big deal as the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Street parking at $1.25 per hour from 8am to 9 pm.

Came for taco Tuesday, which is always hit or miss at a bar. This was a clear miss. I can excuse the flour tortillas as this is an American restaurant, but the grated cheddar on the tacos had gone bad. There is no excuse for this and leaves everything else on the menu suspect. Additionally, there was a bad smell in the place, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Poor staff management had left only one employee on the floor for the night. This place may have been good when it first opened, but it's clearly been neglected. The star is for the one staff person abandoned by her coworkers. Northside deserves better.

The drinks were really good and they have a cute outdoor seating area. The food however....needs a LOT of help. The charcuterie was not pleasant at all and I've never met. Charcuterie board I didn't like. The cheeses were squares and one of them was Swiss, which is not something you want or expect on a charcuterie. The pickled veggies were inedible and tastes like perfume. I ordered soup and it was unpleasant looking and even worse tasting. I really had high hopes because of the reviews but I'm guessing it's for the drinks and ambiance and not food.

Full disclosure; my wife and I are not regulars but we think of The Hamilton as our "go to" bar on our Birthdays, Anniversary, etc. I should have made this point on the night we were there (July 11, 2023) or shortly thereafter but life gets in the way. I ordered the "Kentucky" drink special but asked for bourbon instead of rye. Every other time I have done so (10+) there was no problem and they charged me the specified price. This time I had my usual 2 drinks but noticed when I got home that I was "upcharged" for the bourbon. (Why a "Kentucky" special would have rye is a question for another day.) I do not blame the bartender because when I made m request for the substation I saw her check with a woman whom I assume is the manager and/or owner. Not the worst thing that has ever happened to me at a restaurant/bar but I don't want to just not go there anymore without telling you my reason.

The Hamilton is quiet and intimate with fantastic cocktails and simple, good food. The service is thoughtful and attentive. I've been three or four times; very consistent. Check it out!

This place really is delightful. My partner and I opted for the hummus plate (the hummus flavor rotates, and we were delighted to find out today's flavor was dill) and the charcuterie board. I remember coming here about a year ago for the amazing vegan charcuterie, but that was not listed on the current menu. Though it is worth the ask-it was delicious. The hummus was an ample portion with carrots, celery, and pita bread for dipping. Likewise the charcuterie was quite large and came with 3 meats, 3 cheeses, a variety of pickled offerings like baby dills, olives, pickled beets, pickled artichokes, and mustard, apple butter, and crostini. We did not leave hungry. I tried both the jalapeno margarita (good, but not spicy) and the summer BBC (delicious and boozy). The service was also exceptional and attentive and I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fancier date night but not too frou-frou in either ambiance or pricing. Just a really solid, "I feel like treating myself" spot.

Good food, good wine, great staff. I've been here a couple of times and will definitely keep in my list of places to visit when on night on the town.

The Hamilton is such a gem! Stopped in for a pre dinner cocktail and sat on the patio. The patio is such a lovely space. Lots of plants and cozy seating. Also shaded at that time of day (6 PM).I had a Summer BBC and a spicy margarita, and my husband (2) Kentuckians. All were delicious. The Summer BBC was especially refreshing. We ordered the honey and ricotta. Again, delicious, and perfect as a pre dinner snack. This place is something special. Be sure to stop in!
