One of the best breakfast spots in Greater Cincinnati; incredible, fresh food with great service in a classic atmosphere. Don’t let the “Best Western” part fool you, it’s in gorgeous 1925 Tudor hotel, worth the trip just to see the classic lobby and corridors. But the FOOD!! So tasty, and really competitively priced. Try the Turkey Dill Crepe, it’s inspired!

We stopped into The National Exemplar for Sunday brunch with a group of six. Although we didn’t have a reservation and expected a long wait, the staff ran things efficiently and seated us quickly despite how busy it was. We were placed in the bar area, where Bailey, the bartender, took care of us. She was fantastic—extremely flexible, attentive, and great with the kids, all while managing a full bar and several tables. She also makes an excellent Bloody Mary. Everyone in our group loved their food, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I hadn’t been here in a while, and had forgotten how good it is. We’ll definitely be back soon.

I'm not sure how this place has so many great reviews. Perhaps, you have to be in the Mariemont inner circle or something to get that service.
The food was mediocre at best but what really set them apart was the service, or lack thereof. Absolutely horrible. Theres an aire that we should be thanking them for our patronage which was outrageous. Not only our server but every staff member we encountered displayed complete apathy for their job, their service, everything.
The other bad customer reviews stating that they were ignored, received poor service, etc. are 100% accurate.

The Hotel and Restaurant are very clean and comfortable. Very professional staff in both. It is a British theme but well done. The food was great and service was excellent. Very impressed with the whole place.
