I have so many fond memories of Mt. Adams, and the Rookwood Pottery was a big part of those times. In the 80s, Mom used to take me here for lunch quite often. It was always a place to look forward to coming back to again. I can still "smell" the place if I think about it. As we waited for our food to come, I could usually be found playing the "Crystal Castles" arcade cabinet. I sure miss Rookwood Pottery.

Went to Rookwood today for brunch and had an interesting experience. This was our first visit since they reopened. Many of the breakfast items included “rice pourage”. Basically Asian chicken and rice soup…..with breakfast?? Anyway, the servers are using those point of sale machines to take your order. My daughter was ordering and asked to substitute wheat toast for the biscuit and our server said “it won’t let me do that, substitute the toast….” So we asked, can...
