We had my mom’s 80th birthday dinner and it was simply amazing! Kate was a tremendous host and helped me consider all the details to make the event very special. We had happy hour and charcuterie in the front room and then dinner in the barrel room. What a beautiful and unique setting! All 31 of us were at one, long table and it was just gorgeous. The drinks- especially the WINE - and food were outstanding. We had a GREAT time. I highly recommend Kate and the Skeleton Root winery for your special events and business/corp team events.

Located on a quiet street, The Skeleton Root is an awesome urban winery. We paid $15 for a tasting of 3 locally made red wines. Jay, our sommelier, also gave us a neat tour of the property. The decor and ambiance were excellent.

The Teays wine was exceptional. We didn't actually eat here but the few wines that we did try were excellent. Kate also was very knowledgeable and very well spoken. She does an excellent job and exhibits an exceptional amount of professionalism. Thank you for the great experience!

The atmosphere for one is so gorgeous because of the old industrial vibe they have! The staff is so pleasant and very knowledgeable with their products and the history of the building. We did a wine tasting and was impressed. Although the wines are all dry it still was so good!
I love the ambiance. And the wine was delicious. This is a really cool place. I got to go on a behind the scenes tour, to see where the magic happens.
