We had my mom’s 80th birthday dinner and it was simply amazing! Kate was a tremendous host and helped me consider all the details to make the event very special. We had happy hour and charcuterie in the front room and then dinner in the barrel room. What a beautiful and unique setting! All 31 of us were at one, long table and it was just gorgeous. Located on a quiet street, The Skeleton Root is an awesome urban winery. We paid $15 for a tasting of 3 locally made red wines. Jay, our sommelier, also gave us a neat tour of the property. The decor and ambiance were excellent.
