We go here a lot and are always pretty happy with the food and service but the last 2 times have not been so great. First time we went I had an older lady employee standing over our table screaming other people's orders to the cook directly in my ear which was pretty annoying. Didn't think that was really necessary. Last weekend our server overcharged us. She was very nice, ( long dark hair, tan, sorta young) but the meals we get for $20 somehow cost us close to $40. Apparently she charged us for 2 orders of hashbrowns, and they already came with our meals. So we paid for 4 orders pretty much. We paid it but not too happy. We like Waffle House because it's normally pretty cheap.

This waffle House is pretty much like every other waffle House I've ever been to. Very loud, fast-paced, over stimulating. The food was great, as usual. Our server forgot our drinks and forgot to return with our refills. In her defense it was quite hectic in there, but still, refilling drinks shouldn't be that difficult.

The parking lot is super tight here as you can imagine. I drive a fairly large truck and try to be considerate where ever I park for others to park by not taking up 2 spots. I tend to park in the open for that reason. I parked in my usual spot after 25+ times of being in this location but today I was scolded about parking in that spot. That’s not the reason for the 1 star. The reason for my 1 star is that I had my 11 year old daughter with me and the way the staff member (Catherine) scolded me in front of my child and the full entire restaurant was completely degrading and disrespectful to the point that I just walked out and no longer had an appetite. I was not going to sit down and eat there with my child after that.
Update: went today to give them another chance and had a much better experience. I got my order on time and didn't have to wait like last time. It was also fresh and I saw the double waffle is there, you just have to add it to a classic waffle.
Previous: Got take out but when I got there it wasn't ready and I had to wait 10m after the time it said it would be done.
Also sad to see they took away the double waffle and made them smaller. ☹️

This place is absolutely awesome. The waitress ( Lauren) was funny, attentive & courteous. The Grill Operator (Toni) makes excellent food, and was embarrassed when I openly complimented her. Every time we go there they welcome us, and while you can feel the jocularity and friendly banter between the employees, they are strictly business getting good food to you in record time. You can tell they have good management, because even though they have fun working there, the place is clean, orderly & inviting.
