Went in at 11pm with my wife and another couple. I had hashbrowns everyone else had BLT's. The waiter brought the blt's to the table and told us the bacon was burned and did they want that or they would remake them. Only one other customer so not busy. The burnt bacon should have never been plated, just remake the bacon and serve. We were very nice to them, but if u know it's burnt just start over and don't ask us if we want it. It actually looked old, like they tried to re-cook it. Shame on the cook, rule number 1, bad review on burnt things is worse the being a couple minutes longer for it to be cooked right.

The only thing about Waffle house that I just found out and who knows, maybe I never looked at my receipt, but you should look at it. They want to charge me to take the food to go and then charge me taxs on top of that. I thought the government was the worst ones. I'm pretty sure every time you go out to eat. There's no surcharge for taking the food to go. Waffle house will be the last place. I ever eat at. Once again it was my bad experience. I hope the rest of you have good experience at Waffle house. I do like eating there but I have enough willpower to just eat at home from now on. No surcharges, there.

There's really a lack of late night eating in Eastgate, and after midnight it's usually only here or White Castle. It's your typical Waffle House food, but this location is always kept clean and orderly and the staff are always polite and friendly. I don't recall ever having a bad experience here no matter what time I've stopped in.
