“NEW RENOVATIONS ROCK!! I’ve loved Whistle for years for their serve-yourself taps, but their new expanded space really makes the business feel like an established business. There’s a great bar to sit around now and additional table seating, PLUS PIZZA! Having a by-the-slice shop so close to Rocket Mortgage/Progressive Field is huge. $6 a slice is decent, especially when considering location and convenience.
It’s clear they put a lot of time and consideration into the new space with the decor and guardian 3D murals, and thinking about what downtown cle can benefit from. Give it a few years and this will be The pregame spot for all Cleveland sports fans (watch out Clevelander/Thirsty Parrot!)
ALSO if you’re unfamiliar with Whistle, their serve yourself taps are the best. You go up to the bar to open a tab and they’ll give you a keycard. Then you can go up to any beer (or wine or cocktail sometimes!), scan your card, and pour however much beer you want! Even if it’s only a few ounces to taste before pouring more. They have a huge selection of local and beers from all over, plus all the classics. I love to try at least 5 different beers when I visit and it’s super easy because you control how large your pours are!! Super great spot.

“My Fiancé and I enjoyed our dinner and time at Great Lakes Brewery tonight thanks to host Ciera, and our server Katie, and manager Shannon who made our experience even more wonderful, if not just as wonderful as our meal and dining experience!!!! We enjoyed ourselves greatly and will be back soon!!!“

“Stopped by for drinks with colleagues. The beer was good and the burgers were OK, but I'm not a fan of smashed burgers, nothing to write home about. It's self serve, you order food then pick it up when you're buzzer goes off. The burgers were more bread than meat. Pretty basic stuff. I think they have live bands sometimes but we went to a concert at Cain park down the street. Would go again for beers.“

“I had dinner here while traveling, and it was amazing! They have wonderful food and drinks. I had the quesadilla and mac and cheese, paired with the tipsy shark splash and the Collision Bender strawberry guava seltzer. Staff were also attentive and polite.“

“Food was delicious, drinks were amazing, and service was EXCEPTIONAL. They let us and our pup inside, and repeatedly went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I'm bummed we didn't get our server's name, because they were amazing!!“

“The food and atmosphere were fantastic, but I was disappointed when I noticed I was being charged $8 for my draft beer, despite the clearly advertised special of "$4 Drafts During All Home and Away Cleveland Browns Games." When I questioned the charge, I was met with a shrug and the excuse that "the system isn’t working."“

“Free parking garage behind the brewery. Big, dog friendly outdoor patio. Big, clean modern industrial indoors. Never boring, full flavored brews., including several barrel aged brews. Jobu Burger- big and delicious! Exceptional, friendly, professional, appreciative service. Worth a visit or two.“
