My wife and I went here for dinner during a weekend trip to Cleveland. I had the Authentic Chilies Rellenos and my wife had the Pollo con Crema. Both dishes were very very good and the prices weren't bad at all. If you want really good Mexican the 1942 Tacos and Tequila is right for you. We will definitely be back.

Heard good things about 1942 so figured I would give it a try. Went for dinner with a group of 5 around 6p, they were moderately busy but we were able to get seated without a wait. I tried both the quesabirria and the Al pastor. I’m a big fan of birria tacos and thought these were good but could have used a little more cheese. As for the Al pastor, the flavor was okay but meat was somewhat dry. Chips were good but the salsa is fairly generic that every Ohio Mexican restaurant...

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The service was quick and attentive without feeling rushed, and the portions were generous for the price.
