I felt good about planning to eat here before a show based on the reviews and while our service was impeccable the food was not. My salmon was so dry it was barely edible and my broccolini wasn't edible. While my daughter liked the shrimp Alfredo I would rate it just okay. Expected better - wouldn't go back again.
We enjoyed our meal and my wife really liked her burger. Wine and a Manhattan added to the enjoyment of our meal. Most of all, our server Star was Excellent. She took care of us with a friendly, helpful and efficient concern for our need to be out to get to our show.
Gem near playhouse had no idea was there. Good food good service, in and out but not rushed at all.

The place is great and quiet. It offers awesome service with great personality at the bar. Food is excellent and delicious. Short ribs are best in town and beef medallions are solid. Braised short ribs and cauliflower appetizer are delicious. Cod is over cooked and the crust is browned. Fries are ok and cocktails are nice. Steak seemed wonderful. french onion soup is fairly good. The space worked perfectly for theater goers. The executive chef came out to say hello. The experience is nice and very good. The server is fun and engaged. It will be back again.
