I went in today the food and coffee was actually pretty good. But, unfortunately I was only able to stay in the cat room for a matter of 2 minutes before my asthma was acting up due to my the pee smell (Which hasn’t been bother before by other cat cafes before). They did offer to clean the area opposed to give a refund but honestly there was so much cat pee and smell that I doubt it would have been taken care of in a matter of 30 minutes so I chose to just leave. I do appreciate that they gave a refund tho!

This is the coolest place if you love cats. They have 2 sections, one to lounge with the cats or just have coffee without the cats. All cats are rescue cats, up for adoption. Someone is always around to help you navigate through the cats and their personalities. Lots of toys to entertain the cats.

Great place to play with cats and to adopt! My husband and I have been watching their Iivestreams since we were looking to get a cat and became obsessed with Jade. We visited the cafe and everyone was very helpful in helping us choose the right cat and we love our new little girl. They all clearly love what they do and overall we had a fantastic experience.
Loved it! They even had a couple of gluten free snacks and decent coffee (coming from someone very particular). The staff were awesome. I would make a reservation if you want to be in the room with the cats.

I want to take a moment to share some love for AffoGATO Cat Cafe in Tremont, Ohio.
The first time I visited was during a fun girls trip—lighthearted and full of laughter. I remember feeling relaxed and happy, surrounded by sweet cats and friendly faces. It stuck with me.
Later, after I lost my parents, I found myself needing somewhere to just be. A place to let go of the weight I was carrying, even just for a little while. And I knew exactly where to go.
AffoGATO gave me that space. The staff is so genuinely dedicated—not just to the cats, but to every person who walks through the door. Their kindness, the calm energy of the space, and the gentle company of the cats helped me breathe again. For a little while, I could just exist without pressure or pain.
It’s more than a cat cafe. It’s a place of comfort and quiet healing. And I’ll always be grateful for it.
Now, I have a piece of them at home too. I adopted my Violet (formerly Miss Midnight) from there in December.
Cannot say enough nice and good things about this adorable place. I’m very impressed with how well taken care of the cats all are and the employees who are very dedicated to making the place worth it. I will definitely be back here and glad I finally came to check it out!

We had a lovely time at affoGATO. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was present with the cats and was happy to answer our questions. The coffee service was a bit slow, but I'm sure that this varies depending on the server and their experience. The cats are playful and fun to interact with. Definitely recommend!
