I just recently learned about Affogato as I was doing research because I was looking to adopt a cat. This seemed like the perfect place to go and I was right! The staff was phenomenal, they answered each of my questions, everyone was so kind and informative. That’s how I learned about my sweet new fur baby Vader. The adoption process was so smooth. Everything was a 10/10.

A family member had to take their cats to the APL, and they were transferred to Affogato Cat Cafe. The coffee was so good! The staff was beyond friendly and they knew every single detail about each cat there. It honestly blew me away. The love and compassion that they had for every single cat was as if they were all part of a big family. Such a wonderful place to have a coffee and meet such wonderful purrsonalities!!!

Whether you’re looking to adopt your first cat, add another rescue cat to your household or just hang out with cats, Affogato Cat Café is the place to be. On the café side (which is separate from the kitty lounge room), there’s delicious drinks and treats, friendly customer service and products for sale made by local artists. The cat lounge is cozy and such a wonderful environment for rescue cats to receive more socialization and are all cared for phenomenally. My husband and I already have three rescue cats at home, so we love supporting the café and spending time with the adoptable cats and get so excited when adoptions are announced! If you can’t go to the café in person, they livestream on Twitch. Cats, coffee and fun - can’t ask for more! Definitely stop by, get a delicious cup of coffee and be sure to make cat lounge reservations ahead of time! You won’t regret it 😻☕️

What truly impressed me, however, was the dedication of the staff to the cats they foster in partnership with the Cleveland APL. The care and love they provide to these beautiful animals is evident, and it's clear they are passionate about finding them forever homes. If you're a cat lover in the Cleveland area, this is a must-visit spot. Not only will you enjoy delicious coffee, but you might just find your new furry friend! Highly recommend supporting this wonderful establishment.
Since we aren’t in a position to adopt a new fur baby at the moment, we haven’t made an appointment to play with the kitties at the cafe, but we’ve peeked in the window and have seen how well cared for and happy they are. This place takes tremendous care of their residents and is designed so thoughtfully - The cats have lots of room to enjoy, places to hide (including ceiling fixtures), toys to play with, food and litter facilities, and other amenities. It’s laid out in such a way that all personality types (from shy to rambunctious) can interact with potential forever home humans on terms they are comfortable with. This is so important!
As a cafe customer I can also say that they have a friendly staff and AWESOME beverages! (They have a caramel chocolate oat shake here that’s even better than a milk shake.) We always enjoy our stops in here when we happen to be in the area =^•_•^=

I had the pleasure of visiting on a Tuesday and there were only one or two people with me. There weren't many cats when I arrived due to a lot being adopted over the weekend, and who can be mad at that?! Luckily I Also got to watch a few new cats join the cafe during my visit! I got to play, enjoy some cuddles and it definitely made my birthday special. I was set on a cupcake that I saw online, but unfortunately they were sold out. I got a brownie instead and it wasn't the best. The frozen lemonade was awesome though! I WILL be back!

I love this place. You have to make appointments to be in the cat area, which is good for both the cats and guests. Reasonable prices, excellent hot teas and lavender lemonade. VERY friendly and professional service, very clean interior for the little ones.

far too many employees. have a nice day in the breakroom of someones slow day at the office. if it was maybe 2-3 staff id get it itd be fine, but like 7-10 people in a small room. the vibes were horrendous and the cats were mean except for phil&lil. more employees than cats would not go again.
