Our server was amazing! She was very thoughtful and explained everything on the menu really well since it was our first time here. It was my birthday so she even surprised me at the end of our meal with a delicious cake (with a sparkler!) So cute! The ambiance is super colorful and fun! We loved the decor and everything about the restaurant gave off such a lively, eclectic, and vibrant vibe. So much to look at- but in the best way- not cheesy! The food wasn't your typical Mexican food that you find at every single other restaurant. You could still find flavors and dishes you are used to but in a much more creative way. Nothing about Agave & Rye was boring to say the least. We loved it all and will definitely be back.

Service was EXTEMELY slow on a Sunday. Very little patronage and we waited to be seated as well as waited over 20 minutes for 1 drink from the bar. We were given 2 separate servings of tortilla chips that were both under cooked (flat and bendable NOT crisp!). The server was kind but very slow. Food was pretty good. Overall not a very great experience at this location. Management should do better.

Food & service was great. It is much too loud in there with the music up so high , hard to hear waitress & other people at our own table. lots of dust on cage decor surrounding bar chandeliers . really need to clean them weekly wondering how much dust falls into drinks ?

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Went there before the Browns /Steelers (Browns won) game. Awesome time. Definitely will be back.

Went with other couples and had a great time, I like that they have so many different tacos to choose from

The service was consistently slow, even after the restaurant became less busy. Our server was frequently unavailable, forgot several items, and still included them on the bill. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, and I would not return.

Very unique restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, it does take longer than we expected to get food. Our server was very responsive but it seemed like the whole restaurant only had 2 servers taking orders and running food. We were seated very quickly and our order was taken quickly, but we didn't receive our apps or drinks until 45 minutes after ordering. At that point we didn't have time to place our actual food order as we had an event to attend downtown. We allotted a little over 90 minutes to eat and in hindsight needed about 2 hours based on the pace of the kitchen and bar.

Never leave reviews but their service was horrible. In town for a football game, and almost three hours later our needs weren’t met. When we finally received our food, it was cold. We tried to bring this to the attention of a manager multiple times to come to an agreement sooner. However that was not the case.

0 stars, there for 3 hours, didn’t get the drinks we ordered, all the food was wrong and/or cold, terrible service

Food was so nasty I had to spit it out and immediately had an upset stomach. Service took about 39 mins just to wait for the check. Dead. Couldn't get out of there soon enough. Absolutely will not return. Wont be surprised if this place gets someone sick and shuts down

We visited this restaurant over the weekend and left with mixed feelings. Food: The tacos were amazing—every single one we tried was flavorful and fresh. We loved them all except for one seafood taco, which was just a seasoning preference on our part. The trio of dips was more uneven. The cheese dip with andouille tasted good but we never found the andouille sausage it promised. The guacamole was tasty, but the mango pico/salsa leaned heavily tomato-based and lacked the bright mango flavor we expected. Service & Timing: This is where things fell short. Our waitress took our drink, appetizer, and food order all at once, then disappeared. We sat for about 15 minutes without even water, napkins, or utensils. Another waitress eventually set our entrées down before we had drinks or silverware—hard when tacos are messy. We waited another five minutes before we finally located the manager. Only then did our dips, water, and drinks arrive, in that order. To their credit, the manager was gracious and even comped part of our bill (though we hadn't asked for that). Still, the long delays and out-of-sequence service created an off dinner vibe. Overall: The food is good but not quite strong enough to outweigh the service missteps. We may give them another shot at lunch next time we're in Cleveland, but we'll likely skip the dinner rush.

Food was good. I would go back. Service was great once we had service. Waited about 20 minutes before anyone came by but once she realized we hadn't been taken care of, she was on it. Not even her table.

Eclectic interior with friendly staff. None of our group of seven had ever seen such a creative assortment of taco choices and their menu names for tacos were fabulous. Group loved the crisp shells wrapped in a soft shell for easy eating. I had the mac and cheese quesadilla, and it was oozy gooey goodness and huge. Took the second one home and it was just as delicious reheated. Would gladly go back if I was ever in the neighborhood.

The food was absolutely incredible. Service was great. The artwork in there was just absolutely insane at how cool it was overall a great experience.

We had reservations at 5:45. Showed up at 5:30 and hostess was very rude and told us we wouldn't be seated due to restaurant being too busy. Basically she said my reservation was worthless. This is the second time I've had a horrible experience here and I'm not sure if I ever go back.
