In our tour of Little Italy, Angelo's Nido was next. We were the first in the restaurant, they opened at 11:30 and not noon like the others. The Server/Bartender (maybe owner/manager) was getting ready for the day when we walked in and quickly came over to seat us.Soon after, we had water and delicious bread while we looked over the menu. We ordered drinks while we made our decisions. We both love Eggplant Parm and almost always order it. Another favorite is Chicken Parm so we both decided to continue the tradition. They both come with a side of pasta with a house sauce. I opted for rigatoni and my wife got angel hair, both with marinara.I am not sure if they were still setting up for the day or missing staff, but the food did take a little time to arrive. It was not a big deal as we were not in a hurry, it was just a little odd since it was empty.Once the food arrived, we both commented on the large portions. Not that we were complaining, just odd being lunchtime. The sauce was good and the pasta cooked well. The presentation was also nice and not sloppy. Both dishes were tasty, although not our favorite. The eggplant was more casserole style and not fried pieces like others. The chicken was good but I would have rather it been pounded out and thinner. If Angelo's Nido was in any other part of town we would for sure be back. However, with other amazing spots in Little Italy, it is tough to decide. Prices were very reasonable, especially with the bread and pasta. Since we are not around the corner, it is not easy to stop in and explore the menu. Everything aside, they are still a 5-star review and worth a visit.

I haven't left a review yet and just have to. This is the second time I have ordered lobster here and OMG best lobster ever. My partner always gets veal Parmesan that is also outstanding. I've had lobster in Maine and hands down Angelo's is the BEST. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Atmosphere, waitress/waiters are amazing.

Stoped by for lunch with my wife and I was left with mixed feelings. The staff is very professional and kind, service was impeccable. The pricing is very reasonable for the location. The food was a hit or miss. All the portions are quite large. We had the antipasti platter for appetizers, which was a mistake, since they brought warm bread and butter, which was ironically better than the platter. It’s not that it was bad, just lackluster for an Italian restaurant. The pasta was very good and the Calzone was palatable but not very good. The espressos were perfect. The venue is very dimly lit and has beautiful italian music on the bqckground, but it definitely feels a bit forced. I can see it trying to be a romantic/elegant restaurant, but it doesn't quite make it.Overall I'd say check it out if you're in the area, but just get the pasta. Also there is a 3.5% surcharge for credit card pay, which seems to be customary in the area, but feels outrageous in this day and age.

A group of us went here for NYE and the food, service and entertainment were fantastic! Every appetizer and every entree were amazing. Angelo really cares and it shows. We were so impressed that my daughter decided to have her wedding reception here! We are so excited and so happy to have a place that we know delivers the best of everything.

The food is outstanding. I've been to Italy, and the Carbonara is just as good as you can get in Civitela DeAgleono Italy. The service is above par, the bread is warm an crispy. Fine lettle restaurant in the heart of little Italy. I will be back. The spaghetti and meatballs with sausage is very good. Again, the service is excellent!

I'm short , both of us had 70+ $ seafood entrees special , ( frutti de mar with extra cost scampi) we only had 2 shrimp and 1 scallop halved ,and of course scampi.. rest of seafood was cheap calamari ( some overcooked) and mussels.we visited .there on a Sundayall I could figure is , they must of been out of prime seafood come Sunday ???. They should have said "sold out " instead of serving redacted version.I don't send things back to kitchen. On service , started ok then Server just wanted to leave for night and it showed . She never came back to check on us untill we were long finished . Couldnt get even one coffee refill. I was here prior and had same entree which I loved . Disappointed birthday dinner.

We came here for lunch after my aunt's funeral service. There was plenty of room for our party. The staff was great, very attentive, and prompt. The food was EXCELLENT. We were served family style, and there was plenty to go around. Thank you, Angelo's Nido Italia Restaurant, for making a difficult time a little easier to deal with.

A beautiful restaurant that held onto its 1930s charm without looking outdated. It's exactly the right amount of glamor to feel like it's a special occasion restaurant. And the food is delicious! Our table had fried zucchini and sausage with peppers for appetizers and ravioli, veal medallions and 2 had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.*The zucchini was flavorful and tender, not overcooked.*I'm told the peppers were wonderful with a decent amount of spicy heat.*I tried the Alfredo and it was amazing. So silky smooth and ultra creamy. I wished I had ordered it.*My veal was sliced thin, very lightly breaded, pan fried and served with a lightly lemony sauce. It was tender and flavorful.I didn't try the ravioli. It got demolished too quickly by my SIL.A perfect birthday celebration for our daughter and SIL.I highly recommend Angelos Nido Italia. And they make a perfect cup of after dinner coffee and espresso. If you normally add cream to your coffee try it without. It's so smooth and creamy it needs nothing.
