In this review, I discuss the items ordered, the prices, the taste, payment method for the food items and the customer service presented by the business proprietor.I ordered a small tray of seafood Okro and a plate of ewa Agonyin. It should be noted, you have to order about 3-4 hours ahead or the day before as the meal is cooked from a home kitchen and not at a restaurant. The proprietor is very nice and will send you her menu with prices. For the seafood okro, I paid $70. I asked for shrimp and fried croaker fish for my meal. I did ask for very spicy but it wasn’t spicy to me, but that might just be a difference in tastes. Before cooking, she asked me my salt level, spice level and the seafood I wanted. Adding crabs would have made it more expensive and since I’m not a fan of crabs, I opted out of adding that. The taste was good but it could have used a bit more maggi to take it to the next level. The ewa Agonyin looked so nice. I had expressed a love for ponmo and the proprietor added two ponmo, on the house for me. The other meat protein was some dried fish. It wasn’t so much but the ponmo more than made up for it. The meal also came with plantain. The taste was good, however, in my opinion, it could have used a slight bit more seasoning, specifically more maggi. STILL ORDER IT, it gave ewa agonyin especially with the sauce, but I have had sweeter hence my review. The bean plate cost $25.Now, in the proprietor’s defense, she had told me that people usually add salt to what she cooks cuz she doesn’t use so much salt. Her salt wasn’t a problem for me, it was the maggi. The food could have used more overall. We did discuss maggi level when we talked but I guess we weren’t really on the same page. To be fair, maybe I just like the taste of maggi ????.I’m giving 5 stars cuz the food was good, but it could have been sweeter had we communicated with each other better regarding my seasoning level. Plus the food looked really good.Plus, she she offered me iftar meals for breaking my Ramadan fasts too.She has really good customer service overall.P.S. I was able to pay for my food with Zelle and she also has cash app.
