Johnny and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Astoria, 4/26/2025. What a wonderful experience! We started with an appetizer of Saganaki. Johnny chose the Chicken and Duck with jambalaya. It was so tasty. The duck was especially good as it had a crispy crust, but was juicy and very flavorful inside. I chose the Beef Short-rib étouffée. Probably the best short-ribs I’ve ever had. They were served with rice and asparagus. I can only say the étouffée sauce was incredible....
DELICIOUS! And really great service. This is a great place to have business meetings, meet with friends, and stop for happy hour with work pals. Parking is easy and the price is right!
Consistently voted one of the best in cleveland for good reason. And for my money, this is the best restaurant pound for pound in the city. We have our favorite standbys like the tyrokafteri, the shrimp giouvetsi, and the horiatiki salad. Last night we switched it up and had the beef short rib with Basque Country chili and the fall harvest. Both were amazing.
