Heartbroken that this gem of a restaurant has closed. Everything was delicious and made with great personal care. It was like going to visit your Uncle or going to a small neighborhood establishment where everyone knows your name. Many even walked there from the surrounding residential streets.... What a loss.
Went into this restaurant following the recommendation of a friend, since he knew that I am from the SE and crave Cajun/southern cooking.Not only is the food fantastic—I highly recommend the Thai style wings— but the owners are friendly, likable, and have so many interesting things to share about food, culture, and interesting CLE facts! Food is made with style and care. Sometimes it's hard to find authentic elegance, but this place has it to great effect. Great place to relax, unwind and feel human. Somehow it's classic Heights and classic New Orleans at the same time.
