I came here a lot between 2022 and 2025 when I lived in Cleveland. The beer has always been top notch even for Cleveland but I have to say the food has gotten much better since Eugene's first opened its kitchen inside. I used to think differntly about them but in 2026 these may be the best fries in the city. The vegan dumplings were very high quality and you can't tell that a lot of skill and intent went into the non-meag dishes. I would definitely recommend stopping

Overall, I like this place, and go often. Sadly, the recent changes to the menu are super disappointing. Eugene used to be my favorite fried chicken, but I noticed the seasoning didn't taste as flavorful one day recently. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but the same happened again the next time. Then the fries changed for the wore as well. I had heard Bottlehouse was under new ownership, but I figured that since Eugene was separate, it wouldn't affect the food. Too bad I was wrong and the new ownership now controls the kitchen as well. $15 for 5 tenders that are worse than they used to be is just not going to keep me coming back.

What brewery doesn’t do tastings before ordering? I’ll tell you… this one. Bartender claims it’s “against the law”. Food for thought, that law was repealed a decade ago.

Apathetic service, weak pours, 2 stars for the decent chicken tenders. Picture is their full pour.

Nice place,very quiet. Meads are just not my thing. Didn't have enough time to try their beer so can't comment on it. We had the pot stickers from the kitchen and they were awesome.

I’ve been here several times. Apparently the burger chefs have changed. What used to be the best smash burger I’ve ever had has turned today to a horrible charred hockey puck. Should have returned it and asked for a refund. Possibly the cook was overwhelmed today because it was so busy but no excuse to serve a burger this dry and crispy. I will still come for the beer which is fabulous but burgers no more- don’t bother
