Diner beware-We were here on 12/17/2024. Do not order the Cod or the Salmon. The Cod was not fresh it was tasteless and terrible. The potatoes were over cooked on the outside and the wedding soup is not Italian wedding soup but was more of a mystery soup.
In regards to the Salmon-it was over cooked and very dry.
We tried an order of the chicken wings. They are a very basic deep fried boring wing. Nothing more to make them any more special except for the sauce that you can dip them into.
Lastly-the waitress never asked why either of us barely ate any of our food. We ended up taking $50 worth of Cod and Salmon home to our dogs. Save your appetite and money and go elsewhere.

Kid-friendliness: Honestly, I don't see too many kids there. It's a nicer restaurant. However, I used to bring my kids when they were little but they were well behaved.😅

The food was really good and we were seated and served quickly. However the waitress as sweet as she was is just not trained well. Clean but the atmosphere was less than inviting.

Unfortunately, our food was very subpar. The chicken piccata had zero lemon flavor and was tasteless. The chicken prosciutto was good. We ordered a meatball appetizer which hadn’t been delivered to the table even when we were finished with our meal. Our glasses remained empty as no refills of tea were offered. At the end of the meal we questioned why tax was on our bill as our dine-in was during the Ohio tax free period for restaurants. The manager refused to correct our bill when we pointed out that Ohio law states “Since food is taxable when it is dine-in, any menu item, including soft drinks, that is less than $500 would qualify for the sales tax holiday exemption.”
Under FAQ on the website, “Can vendors choose not to participate in the sales tax holiday? No. The sales tax holiday is set by law and vendors must comply.” We were made to look like idiots when we inquired on this. Management would not correct their error.
Sadly, we will never return to Brick Oven.

Generous portion sizes of delicious food at a fair price. Chicken parm is something memorable, pizzas were fantastic and better than I expected. Overall, our dinner was very scrumptious and the whole family enjoyed!

The service was very slow. I ordered a coffee and never got one. My meal was very salty. The salad and bread were good.
