What a Gem in Old Brooklyn the food is on point the service is great and the conversation with Tammy is great, don't be in a hurry food it's made to order. Besides speeding time with Tammy will be well worth it.

A small intimate space, Charlie's is the real deal. An authentic gem that still delivers a great diner experience, good breakfast food with cheerful service. The corn beef hash is simply excellent - maybe the best in years of diners. The eggs and sausage are standard fare delivered quickly and with a hugely friendly touch. Honestly, at the counter I felt like I had been coming for years, they were so nice. I'd come back anytime - and I think there are a few who do so every day. It is quirky and credible but it is also great, with plenty of parking and even if you have to take the highway briefly as we did from downtown... it was ten minutes and worth every moment of the drive - and that would be true if it was twice as far. Drive and pat yourself on the back for doing it right.

Had a taste for a good hotdog so I googled “best restaurants with hotdogs” and this place came up. Drove 20 minutes to get here pulled up at 1:05pm and they were closed! There was a young lady in there that was cleaning up that completely ignored me. I just wanted to ask her was the online hours correct. I guess I missed out on a potential good hotdog and they missed out on a potential loyal customer. I will not drive 20 minutes again not knowing if the place will actually be open.
