I’ve been coming to Cleats for years — dining in, picking up orders, even delivering for them — and I’ve never once been asked for ID for a small purchase. Today, cashier Christy demanded my ID for a bill under thirty dollars. What made it worse is that I’ve watched countless white customers and lighter‑skinned customers make similar purchases without ever being asked for identification. The inconsistency was obvious, and the way it was directed at me felt racially motivated.

No business should apply policies selectively or make Black customers feel singled out. It created an uncomfortable and unnecessary experience, and it’s disappointing to see this kind of bias in a place I’ve supported for years. Cleats needs to address this behavior and ensure all customers are treated with the same respect and fairness.

If you want 100% bad frozen food, and soup from a microwave, this is the spot ☺

It's pretty rough around the edges... good burger.

Horrible experience, wings were over cooked. Bar manager is very rude and only talks to certain customers, I believe not of color. I would give zero stars if possible. My local steel mill is 2 minutes away, now I know why this place is always empty. I will be contacting the franchise.

Will never come here again. The bar manager is horrendous and has a very nasty attitude. To be working in the hospitality field she is terrible. The place is like a dungeon and she makes it no better ! Do not waste your money here!

Food is good and the waitstaff is good! Their wing specials weekly are great ! My only real complaint about this place is their manager Theresa! She hovers around the bar and always has a very angry look and disposition. It sort of makes the ambiance feel off and unwelcoming! She only speaks to certain patrons and ignores others if the bartender is busy and she needs to step in. I like coming here but feel uncomfortable when she’s around. Parking lot and parts of the interior could use some work !

I used to go here at least three times a week. That was years ago. It does not appear that they have put a dime into since, it is dark and dingy. The wings are still delicious, the rest of the menu is good but boring. And don't try to speak to the manager, she acts as if she is doing you a favor by being there. i would not recommend this place at all, there are much better places with better menus in Tremont right next door.

Ok so they had a bogo offer on wings that got me in the door and I saw 12.99 for 6 wings and I'm like ok that's not that bad and then I get asked what kind of sauce I'd like then they ask me if I wanted celery or ranch or blue cheese so I say sure she comes back and says what kind of drink do you want i say im fine i dont want anything but she tells me that i have to order a drink with my food i didn't understand and i said i wanted a water i didn't want pop so I'm eating and I finish and get the check tell me why my bill is 22 bucks they charged me 3 dollars for the glass of water and they charged me 1 buck for each ranch and blue cheese cup and they charged for the celery absolutely ripped off man talk about hidden charges
