Wonderful experience @ Dante! Beautiful & unique setting, attentive staff providing great service. Extensive wine offering, with options across the full range of styles and prices. We had the 7 salad, which offered a variety of vegetables, flavor and texture. Our main was the ribeye, and it was fantastic. Cooked as requested, incredibly flavorful and a great cut of meat. Dante does it right... highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Dante. The food was delicious — the hummus dip with bread was incredibly flavorful, and the cauliflower steak was very well done.
What truly made the evening special, though, was our server, David. He went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences with such care and attentiveness. I mentioned that I have a bit of a sweet tooth while my wife prefers more sour flavors, and he thoughtfully customized our drinks — hers with extra grapefruit juice and mine slightly sweeter. That level of detail made us feel genuinely seen and cared for.
It’s a blessing to have someone like David at your restaurant — someone who clearly aspires to serve others in a meaningful way. He made our dinner memorable, and we’re grateful for the experience.

Out of towner - took local friends to dinner. Was excited as restaurant run n owned by Cleveland's only Michelin-starred Chef. Really wanted to like place - only to be disappointed. Everything was mostly good until the main courses were served. It is a crime to serve overcooked fish - skate esp when server said it is one of the house specialty. The skate was hard like jerky. Had to send food back to be re-made. This experience came on the heels of just having dinner at Providence at LA. Providence is true Michelin experience.

I took my wife to Dante for the tasting menu to celebrate her birthday. They sat us in the back room so it was nice and quiet. The food and wine were exquisite in flavor and presentation. A truly wonderful experience.

Incredible! Staff was so thoughtful and attentive. Food was so amazing, the calamari was hands down the best dish I've ever had! Wine recommendation was spot on. Portion sizes are great too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was our first visit. We really enjoyed. The waiter recommendations of pork trio and skate with a carbonara appetizer was perfect. We took our time and never felt rushed. We were seated in the very back room which I will request next time as it was quieter. Highly recommend for a special occasion or date night. Definitely in our top 2 of restaurants we have enjoyed in Cleveland. Honestly reminded us of a couple of our favorite restaurant dining experiences that we have been fortunate to experience in Europe. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We dined here for my birthday and did the 5 course dinner and wine tasting, it was amazing! I am a sommelier and really appreciated the pairings they were extremely on point. I was skeptical of what Ohio had to offer as far as tastings and wine pairings and this exceeded my expectations! I am so glad we came to Dante's and will definitely be back!

The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The music was a bit too loud, particularly the type of music they were playing didn't seem to match the ambiance. Our server was excellent.
The food is way overpriced for the quality. Both me and my husband think the best part of the food is fresh bread. I ordered blackened fish. It has fishy odor. My husband ordered salmon. He almost asked if the servant cooked the food. It is so mediocre. Very disappointed overall. We spent over $200 in total and almost 2 hours in the restaurant. Totally not worth it.

A true Cleveland staple. I have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. In fact, we come here almost every year for our anniversary no matter the other options in Cleveland for a reason. My husband and I love to eat in the vault (but we do not always eat there). We tend to get the tasting menu with the wine pairing. We have never had anything less than excellent, well thought out dishes paired perfectly with wines. The servers have always been knowledgeable. The ambiance is an approachable, non-stuffy setting. Chef Dante is a Cleveland legend, you would be missing out if you do not give this place a try.
