Wonderful ambience and staff, food experience mixed. Those who ordered blackened grouper were thrilled, those who had the Amish chicken were disappointed. Very dry and hard to cut. Wouldn't normally order chicken, but our server actually recommended it.

What an amazing experience with great service, phenomenal food, and a cool atmosphere. We had a blast on our special date night splurging on the 5 course tasting menu. I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Never again! Did my homework, read reviews, chose Dante for our date night from out of town. Server didn't greet us for almost 10 minutes, we ordered the tasting menu and the first course arrived. 22 minutes later. We sat for another 28 minutes when server acknowledged that second course would be out soon. We ended up leaving him a tip and going somewhere else. The food presented in the first course was not even good. Maybe the entrées are different but will never try again due to the horrible service. Also, the host was more like a bouncer at a bar, although the hostess looked very friendly.

Dinner last night at Dante was excellent. The whole staff was efficient and friendly (a special thanks to our server, Aaron) and the food was exceptional. My husband started with the Salad of 7 Vegetables, and his only complaint was that the portion size was way too large. His main course, the Pappardelle Bolognese, was as good as it always is. My Crispy Calamari and Shrimp appetizer was great, as was my favorite pasta, Linguine Alla Carbonara. An added plus is that we will enjoy a second meal tomorrow night from our leftovers!

Based on the google reviews my husband and I had high hopes for this restaurant which seems to be a well- known Cleveland staple. We decided to go with the tasting menu hoping to taste more than two dishes between us. However, the tasting menu items for the day we went were underwhelming. Nothing we were served was amazing or talk worthy. It also was not very Italian focused which was disappointing considering that is why we picked this restaurant to visit. My husband I seek out tasting menus at restaurants all the time as we are true foodies and love to experience a variety of dishes at a restaurant. The service was amazing, drinks were well-crafted and high quality, ambiance was very nice we just wish the food was better. Maybe their regular menu is better, but the tasting menu lacked something. It is unlikely we will return.

Here for a couple birthdays. Our server crushed the wine recommendations. He got us out of our usuals and they didn't disappoint. Food is always outstanding.

Dante definitely continues to be among our TOP 5 restaurants in Cleveland that we enjoy. Once again, last night was no exception. Our cocktails were terrific, our courses were timed to appear at our table as we were ready for them and not before. The tuna tartar is exceptional. The carbonera is always a must have. A bit of a disappointment on our Blackened grouper as it was a tad overdone and a bit dry. Luckily the accompaniments to the dish helped lessen the overcooked fish. That being said, we'll be back again and again

The food was genuinely good,I'd definitely order my dish again. But the service felt rushed and inconsistent. Staff came over every few minutes, cleared plates immediately, and kept asking about boxes, even though it wasn't busy. It was my birthday, and while another guest received cake and candles, I wasn't offered anything despite staff knowing. That left me feeling overlooked and uncomfortable. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others.

First poor experience at Dante. 2 of 3 servings of Carbonara were swimming in the sauce and pancetta was undercooked and rubbery. Skate fish (new menu item) came out highly overcooked and more like jerky. We chalked it up to a rare bad night in the kitchen. Our server was fantastic given our experience. I must admit I'm disappointed Dante did not come over to our table before we left as we saw him talking with other customers in the bar earlier. They took the Carbonaras and skate fish off the bill. Regrettable and unexpected poor birthday dinner for my wife.

our first time at Dante and it won't be our last. The service was outstanding! We loved the heirloom and burrata salad, the corn chowder soup and the two pasta dishes we enjoyed. Staff were all so kind and attentive.
this was my first time here and i came for a birthday finner for myself and i enjoyed my time. i have no complaints honestly, i loved the fact that everyone was knowledgeable about the meals and wines. the funny part is that i don't remember any of the wine names, i just remember eat and drinking. great place for date night or just coming for the great food.
