“Brewnuts is a true neighborhood favorite of mine. This place fits so many moods: grabbing a six pack of dones to impress out of town guests, wall to wall for a watch party or special event, or low for a coffee and donut while studying on a weekday afternoon.

The donuts are fresh and fun! As a vegan, I really appreciate how many options they offer. They always have coffee available, even late at night, along with NA beers, and they are happy to make a mocktail on the fly. The merch selection is cool and constantly changing.

I also love Brewnuts’ unwavering support of Cleveland and good human causes. It is the kind of place that anchors the community.

“Awesome little donut shop! The lady behind the counter (Who I believe was the owner) gave my sister and I each a free cinnamon sugar donut to try while we debated what kind of donuts we wanted. The donuts are all the same mix, and they too the donuts with whatever frostings and toppings in front of you. Ending up paying about $20 for a dozen. Highly recommend if you want some nice small donuts and you're by the Cleveland area :)“

We are new to the area but a visit in person is a must. A big thanks to John for his generosity and the best bake goods we have ever had. “We just had the best experience at Michael's Bakery. The cheese and apricot folded croissants were delicious, the adorable flower cupcake moist and beautifully decorated, and the bread loaf perfect with our lunch. We went for our son's birthday and the clerk was incredibly kind and professional, and even gave him a cookie for the occasion. We will definitely be back!“

“I visited The Sweet Spot after seeing their Croffles online and just had to try them! I ordered the strawberry croffle along with the twisted ice cream (matcha & ube), and both were delicious! The croffle had the perfect balance of chewy and sweet, and the ice cream flavors paired really well together.

I was a little bummed that even though the menu listed several croffle topping options, only strawberry and chocolate/almond were actually available. Hopefully they expand the selection soon, because I’d love to try more next time!

The shop itself is super cute, but it was pretty warm inside—it felt like the AC wasn’t running, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sit and enjoy the treats.

Overall, the food was great and I’d still recommend checking it out if you’re in the area and want something sweet and unique!“
