Among the best Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to. The sega wat and injera are amazing. The traditional artwork on the wall sets a good atmosphere even if you eat at a normal “diner” table rather than on a mesob.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
The kitchen is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a restaurant.
They compare very favorably to Fasika’s in Adam’s-Morgan, or Ras Kassas in Boulder.
Go, be adventurous. You won’t be sorry.
Certainly a hidden gem of Cleveland. Both the interior and the food is an absolute delight. The scents coming from the kitchen were very welcoming and made the whole experience even better.
no music, but didn't mind that at all. Not the best for large groups, but a adventurous and intimate date spot or couples dinner. Hands eating more than utensils but utensils available.
