Chicken. Tender pieces of marinated chicken cooked with onions, garlic, and a touch of rosemary.

Beef or lamb. Tender pieces of marinated beef or lamb cooked with onions, garlic, a touch of rosemary, green chilies, and berbere.
22. Kitfo
Ground beef and mitmita slowly cooked in Ethiopian butter served with homemade cottage cheese.

Coffee Ceremony
23. Coffee Ceremony
Special after-meal treat. A traditional leisurely ceremony involving the roasting of green coffee beans. The coffee is served from Jebena (traditional coffee kettle) and poured into Feenjal (a smallc up) making 1 to 3 cups for an order.

Though it's been years since we ate here, the experience was such a good one that we can't help but smile when we see our pictures from the lunch we had there. The young man that took care of us was full of positive energy and even jumped in our family selfie! The food was solid as expected.

Our friends visit often and recommended. Food was very good. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. It's a modest family owned restaurant and the service was great. I appreciated that there were no strong chemical cleaning smells and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Great food served on the Ethiopian steamed bread, but they do have silverware if you want. I had the Doro wot vegetarian combination it was wonderful with a good variety of flavors. Will definitely return. Still a great place, 4 years later.
