Came in town from out of town, googled soul food near me, this location popped up. We decided to give it a try. 10/10. Everything was seasoned to perfection, chicken was fried hard just how I like it. Y’all should def try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Their Instagram Photos are totally AI and misleading. I thought this was going to be a great experience like they had just posted 5 days before. There was maybe 1 bottle of liquor that had something in it as you can see in the photo I waited an hour for 10 wings and they tasted like burnt grease.

Food was good and hot! Catfish was fresh and hot. Mac and cheese good. Chicken bowl was good. 2 things....the food was a bit too salty and the dude working wasnt too friendly , other than that I will return and try again

Food was alright if they would lay off so much salt it would have been better the green and green beans were super super salty...Mac n cheese was good so was chicken wings and fish these 3 items werent super salty. But BIG TIP yall dont need to add paprika or what ever that seasoning is all put on top of EVERYTHING it doesnt need it at all.

Food was amazing, the mac and cheese reminded me of home. Sad I missed on the greens but the cabbage was fantastic.

Those porkchops, tender, juicy, a slight crunch.

Damn it was good, do not miss on this space.

The food was very good.

So I figured I would try them out today since they’re in the neighborhood, instead of going to my usual place that’s a little farther away. I ordered a polish boy. Before I can even unwrap it I notice how light it is. Did I order a polish boy or cotton candy? Then when I unwrap it I see that it has no coleslaw whatsoever. That’s not a polish boy. If you’re out of coleslaw, which is hard to believe, then compensate with something extra or at least put a little note in the bag. Not cool. I’ll stick to my usual place that has polish boys with coleslaw and some weight on them.🙄

I had a wonderful experience getting take out here. Food was hot and fresh. I got a catfish dinner with Mac and cheese and okra and my God mom loved it. I got a catfish sandwhich..just wished I asked for lettuce tomatoe and tartar sauce on it..but was still very fresh and good. I will be back..thanks!

I went with the pork chops, collard greens, and mac & cheese and this plate came with attitude.

Pork Chops was full of flavor and well cooked. The outside had a beautiful crust, almost like it challenged the oil and won. Inside? Still juicy, seasoned all the way through — not just salt and pepper, but something more. I'm sure they'll never tell. Whoever’s behind that pan knows how to layer flavor, not just fry meat.

Collard Greens had a deep, earthy, and slow-cooked like they had somewhere to be — but decided to stay a while. Not greasy nor bitter. Just bold greens that held their own on the plate. You could taste the time in them.

Mac & Cheese had no powdered cheese energy here. This was creamy, and rich — not just cheesy, but cheese-forward. Thick enough to hold shape, smooth enough to scoop easy. They understood the assignment.

This wasn’t comfort food — this was commanding food. No softness, no shortcuts. Just food that shows up and stands tall all on its own. And that say something because I'm a VERY, very picky eater. My appetite’s strict and choosy — I don’t just eat anything, and I definitely don’t hand out praise for free.
