As repeat customers we had to order the shakshusha for brunch. It was excellent, as was the mushroom omelet. Good coffee, excellent service, and a charming patio in this historic area. Going back sometime soon for their famous burgers!

Heck's a wonderful place for quality food, creative drinks and a quiet relaxing atmosphere. If you sit inside, it's like a cross between a wine cellar and a garden. Outside, it's like a little garden on a quiet street. The food is always outstanding, and the staff is always attentive and charming

I've heard about this place for a while and they're great burgers.
The burgers were okay, albeit a little dry. I ordered the burger with short ribs on top and I could barely find the short ribs. The fries were good and crispy. We also tried their truffle pierogies appetizer, which were really good. The drinks were probably the best part of the meal. The atmosphere is nice they do have a great outdoor area too in the service was great but I felt like the burgers were lackluster and the reason why we came. Sadly, I feel like it's one of those places where you try it once and that's enough. I still recommend checking them out for yourself.

As always, food and service was excellent. Ylli always provides the best service possible with a smile! The 5 of us all had something different -everything delicious! However, I wish the owner would address the noise level. The restaurant can be made quieter by using curtains, tablecloths, carpeting, cushioned seats and tables spaced apart as surfaces covered with materials help absorb sounds. Another way to reduce noise levels in a restaurant is to install sound-absorbing ceiling tiles or soundproof panels. This would make inside dining at Heck's in Ohio City perfect!

This place is turning into trouble for me. I keep going with the intention of getting something else on the menu but I just can't pass up on the Au Cheval Burger. I keep ordering the same thing. The rest of the menu looks great, but I may never find out ;-(
We ordered a beachwood burger and we said that it should be medium. But it was completely rare and even we told them and they cooked it again but it was again completely rare, and they even didn't serve a new burger and just cooked the previous one. I'm not satisfied at all and don't recommend it to anybody. However they didn't charge us at the end.

Waiter was very attentive kept coming back to my group. Several times throughout the evening appetizer were out and quickly delicious we had calamari and we had the brussels sprouts cooked to perfection dinner we had the salmon burger we had the mushroom ravioli I had the kebab chicken temperature of food was above very hard waiter brought it quickly delicious ask us How was our dinner? Very polite. Felt very safe outside around the neighborhood even though people walk on the sidewalks with their love ones are their dogs very very top-notch staff I give 1000% to the chef and the owner
