Outstanding Service & Inspiring Talent at Heck’s Café
We had the pleasure of being served by Claire at Heck’s Café in Cleveland, and she is truly a standout. Not only is she an excellent server—attentive, warm, and professional—but she is also a talented young artist with a refreshing vision for the restaurant’s future.
Claire shared some of her creative ideas, including reviving Heck’s merchandising, redesigning the logo, and introducing new T-shirts, mugs, and other branded items. Her enthusiasm, innovation, and eye for design make it clear that she’s the kind of motivated team member who can help evolve the Heck’s brand and carry it confidently into the new millennium.
Heck’s is lucky to have someone with her passion and forward-thinking energy. We left not only impressed with the food and service, but genuinely excited for what the restaurant could become with Claire’s ideas in the mix.

This was so amazing 😍 really cute/aesthetic inside, truffle pierogis were perfect, also got their Mac n cheese to go which was some of the best I’ve ever had!! Very good service and nice people too, 0 complaints.

Haven't been to heck's in many years. It still maintains the same charm. The have expanded. And the food remains delicious.

😍The plant room😍 Service, food and drinks are top notch! Ambiance is 10/10! Everything we tried was incredible—the Brie—outstanding! Have only tried this place once for lunch and I must have forgotten how good it was. Loved our bartender and the time she took to recommend some items not listed on the menu, such as their seasonal sangria. If you have not tried Heck’s, highly recommended you this is your sign to stop in!

I remember Heck's Cafe in the old location. I believe it was in, or just outside, Lakewood, in the 80's. It was my favorite restaurant, then. This is not the Heck's of the 80's. The interior is dark and the atmosphere, cold. We were there about 4:00 for an early dinner and it was devoid of patrons, although a few started to trickle in closer to 5:00. My husband ordered the Stroganoff, which he said was good, but very non-traditional. I ordered the BrieBerry Burger, which I would not highly recommend. We will not likely visit again.

I used to absolutely love this place and frequent often but I had such terrible service 2 years ago for my birthday that I cant bring myself to go back. I had my friends from out of town It was a Friday evening, I did call ahead, they sat us in a side room that was full of flies, it smelled like sewage, they didn't come and even ask for our drinks for over 20 mins, the server was (I'll be nice here)less than pleasent and the food was almost inedible. Definitely goes down as the absolute worst place to have your bday dinner for sure.
This place has been special to our family for many years! They are always happy to accommodate our large birthday parties. We had one of these last night! Server went above and beyond, she was fantastic and the steaks were prepared perfectly, along with wonderful appetizers and cocktails. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend Hecks!

What I like most is the consistency. Whether you’re grabbing brunch, dinner, or just hanging on the patio in the summer, the food and service stay on point. The staff treat you like they actually care, not like you’re just another table to flip. That makes a difference.
