Not great overall. I get what they're going for, a loung-y atmosphere with cool Latin drinks and food, but it felt soulless and the execution on food and service didn't match the price point. The food in particular fell flat, from overcooked and under seasoned steak to a ropa vieja that was fine, but slightly over salted and not what I'd expect at a nearly $30 price point. Service was ok, our server was nice and polite but seemed inexperienced and didn't appear to be well trained. We came for the food rather than the cocktails, so maybe we're not their target audience, but it feels like the owners and management could benefit from really focusing on execution to deliver a better value proposition to their patrons. I gave it two stars rather than one, but this clearly falls in the ‘we won't be back' category for us.
The vegan and vegetarian options are outstanding. Everything was delicious. Great service. Easy parking.
The server did a decent job with what she had. They did not have chicarrones steak and rice when we came in on a Sunday afternoon. What Latino place runs out of rice?!?!
Very good experience. The servers, managers all reached out and made it an awesome experience. Great ambiance
Service was quick and attentive. Brianne was friendly and enjoyed her serving us. I can't wait to come back.
Positively delightful experience at Barroco Larchmere. So delightful, in fact, we've gone two weekends in a row! Great service by lovely people, good creative food and drinks. Thoroughly enjoyable through and through!
It ended up being more enjoyable and delicious than we thought it was going to be. But a bit shortstaffed.
Some good very good and some not good at all. My dish was all burned french fries and very little meat, tomatoes or onions. No chorizo in black bean soup. Sauces good and fun.
Overall very good! Most of us really liked our food. Super for gluten free options. You can order from the pizza menu from the restaurant attached, which is an added perk. Service wasn't the best and there were some mistakes, but it happens. Only complaint, not the biggest deal, but she asked if we wanted sparkling or flat water and then charged $10 for sparkling water. So, if you be aware of that. Again, not the biggest deal, but $10 is a lot for sparking water in my opinion. Could have had a mojito for a few dollars more!
Very mediocre dinner overall. Food was fine and cocktails were very bland. Definitely not worth over $100 for 2 people (1 appetized and 1 drink each)

This place is really a hidden gem! Great vibe with moody decor, a unique and delicious Latin menu (not "Mexican" food), great drinks and a staff eager to please its customers. Can't wait to go back.
Our server and bartender, Miguel, was efficient, knowledgeable and took great care of our large group. Food and drinks were tasty with a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
I wanted to love this restaurant. The ambience was excellent and I liked our waiter's efforts and spirit. But unfortunately the arepas were dry, hard, and overly seasoned. The vegan arepa was okay, the carne asada was so salty. We may have been there on an off night. However, I don't feel compelled to return in the near future.

The meal was good. Some of the items were new to us, so perhaps a bit different than we expected. But the service was great. We will go again and try some other entrees.
