I’ve been eating here for years. It tends toward the Chinese American type of Chinese food but that’s fine for me! The staff is always nice. Good prices and nice portions. I have no negative thoughts about this fine establishment.
Not a fan of this Chinese restaurant, but I think you should take this with a grain of salt. This is entirely taste based. While Hunan East might not be fore me, it might be for you.

Hunan East hold a special place in my heart. My whole family would eat there since I was very young and the food is always delicious and cheap.Much of the menu leans American-Chinese UNLESS you ask for the BIG menu. The little yellow take-out menus are TINY in comparison to the big menu!The staff is always happy to serve us traditionally made food if we asked!
