Sad to see that Jaja is temporarily closed. I really liked this restaurant because I thought the portion sizes and prices were good and the inside was stunning! It is one of the cutest spots I found in Cleveland.

We went to JaJa for a Sunday brunch to celebrate my engagement (a bit over a year ago). We did make our reservations online and in advance. There was valet parking out front, which I highly suggest, and they allow you to pay with Venmo!
It was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere, the vibe, the service, the food, EVERYTHING!
There is a small elevator you take up to the restaurant and it has a fun wallpaper and blacklight. Once you get upstairs, it’s just stunningly beautiful! The decor, the plants, the natural light and airy feel. Once it got a bit warmer, they opened up the window ceiling and it was just a whole different feel. It felt like you were outside but completely indoors.
The buffet was next level. So many options and everything was so good! We were very full upon leaving.
Our server even brought over complimentary champagne toast to help us celebrate the engagement. Just the little things on top of an already amazing experience really blew us away.
It is a bit pricey, but for the experience (and it being in Ohio city), i think it was so worth it and we cannot wait to come back!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff! I contacted jaja to talk through the details of a surprise dinner for my now fiancé; the reservation would nightcap our engagement earlier in the evening. Jason, the beverage manager, promptly invited me to tour the space well weeks ahead of the reservation and sat us in a quiet, more intimate corner of the restaurant. The food was amazing, the drinks incredible, our server was top-tier and attentive. It was so special and we were blown away by the attention to detail from the food to the decor and the retractable glass ceiling. I highly recommend all aspects of the gem!

Very cool atmosphere with great views of down town. Definitely could accommodate a large group. Food was on point. Dessert was devine.
Fantastic atmosphere, great service and the food was outstanding. Our bartender Nicholas was great, made the most delicious drinks :) Would highly recommend the Potato Puree and the Clams. We ended the night with the chocolate peanut butter tart and it was unbelievable. This is a great gem in Ohio City and I cannot wait to come back and try other dishes.

It was a refreshing mix of flavors from the rest of the Cleveland food scene. It’s definitely not like most other local restaurants, think bigger cities in terms of atmosphere.
