Had a wonderful corned beef sandwich here for lunch while serving jury duty. Karl's has a wonderful old-school pub vibe and a menu to match. This is a get-what-you-expect establishment in the best way. The folks working here are friendly and proud of their food. ?

I have to give this an incomplete. The hours are posted until 9pm this evening and the establishment was dark. A correction to yelp and safari maps to the correct hours would be helpful.

Our breakfast experience was amazing. It felt like breakfast with family. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The corn beef hash was the best we have ever had. Top it off with a Bloody Mary and score you have the perfect breakfast or pregame meal.

Great lunch spot with solid deli sandwiches. I'm not usually a fan of rye bread, but theirs is not a usual rye. Good crust but not crusty, light and delicious without the overpowering flavor. My first steak pastrami and stadium mustard. Both are so full of flavor they were gone before I knew it. Next time I am in Cleveland I am coming here for lunch!

Great diner, friendly service, very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. We were able to get some off menu grilled cheese sandwiches served with fries. Being a vegetarian, it's nice to be accomodated as best as possible. Thank you Karl's!

I took one look at the 'free breakfast' in my hotel and thought there must be something better? I asked another hotel's concierge down the street and they recommended Karl's. I was not disappointed, great atmosphere, great food and great price. Read about Karl's journey on the many plaudits on the walls and had the pleasure of chatting to K. as I paid. Highly recommended and thank goodness for real eateries with character, history and warmth like this, to an out of town visitor. Cheers Karl.

Glad we stumbled across this place. It truly is a hidden gem. Portions are monstrous and delicious. Nostalgic atmosphere and plenty of seating. We enjoyed everything.

Quick service and good size portions. I liked that the potatoes were sliced and not just French fries. The rye toast was delicious so I’m going back to try the sandwiches!

I pretty rarely give a five star review, because nobody is perfect, but Karl's had the BEST corned beef I have ever had!! This place is all about great service and even better people!! Thank you Karl for making my trip to Cleveland even better than the last.

Just a block or two from a trendy warehouse/packing/whatever district full of clubs and high dollar gourmet restaurants, Karls Inn of the Barristers has a very low key and local feel. I went alone for lunch on a free day following a conference nearby and really enjoyed it. Yes, the price of the reuben might give you pause, but consider that its piled high with house made corned beef, not just purchased from a supplier and sliced. I assume it was the proprietor that waited on me and he was friendly without being over-attentive. I enjoyed my sandwich while taking in the great vibe of a tucked away local spot. Just what I was hoping for. The sandwich was great, served with good fries and thousand island on the side. (he said he can't put it on the sandwiches anymore because so many people don't like it, which I find bewildering, but so much of our world is these days.) Anyway, I enjoyed it very much and would certainly consider returning if I find myself in town again.
