I’ve been coming to King Fong for a little while now and always enjoyed the food and service, but I recently found out something that honestly really disappointed me.

I tried giving a tip directly to one of the service workers and learned that the staff apparently do not actually receive their own tips. Hearing that completely changed how I view this business.

The service workers are the reason customers come back. They work hard, deal with people all day, and deserve to be properly compensated for the service they provide. I cannot in good conscience support a business if the people taking care of customers are not being allowed to keep the tips intended for them.

Unless this policy changes, I’m seriously reconsidering whether I’ll continue coming here.

I've been coming here for years a few months ago a placed an order and everything was just bland no flair, no Chinese at all when usually it's A1 so I thought maybe it was an off day decided to try again today and got the same results BLAND it's time to move on

Cherry Wonderdog gives kudos to King Fong in Cleveland for its generosity and culinary performance last Friday midday. Four of us ordered takeout, and instead of the luncheon special with soup and pork fried rice, we all went with the pint of food with white rice. The portions were plentiful (half of us couldn’t finish), everything was hot, and none of the protein we ordered resembled mystery meat. Nope, everything was legitimate and quite good. Mine was Szechuan chicken while my wife enjoyed her staple dish, cashew nuts. For $6.95, we felt there was nothing missing (except, perhaps, the choice to substitute fried rice for an extra $1). In fact, the pricing for the luncheon specials didn’t make much sense, because it seemed to be merely the sum of the pieceparts. Perhaps someone can revisit that. Until then, we’re perfectly happy ordering the pint portions.
