Best real beef burgers and fresh cut fries
Every sandwich I’ve had here has been just about perfect. The menu is large but each item is thoughtfully crafted and well executed.
The food was excellent and very fresh. Wish we were here longer so we could try it again but only here on a day trip!

Local West is a popular spot on Cleveland's west side, known for its sandwiches and burgers made with care and local pride. Their robust burgers feature tender and juicy patties, and their creative sandwiches offer vibrant textures and tastes that go beyond standard deli options. Customers enjoy unique choices like the Cubano, made with perfectly cooked pork, ham, pickles, and mustard on French bread, as well as the salmon burger, which contains a significant amount of salmon and is served with excellent tzatziki sauce. The menu also includes standout dishes like the chicken Caesar salad, made with fresh ingredients and a light, flavorful vinaigrette, along with daily rotating soups such as savory potato soup. The skin-on fries are soaked overnight for crispiness, and portions are generous, which customers appreciate. Although there is a policy of no tap water, the overall dining experience is enhanced by delicious food and friendly staff, making it a place worth returning to. Recent reviews highlight the quality of the Cubano and sweet potato fries, and many mention that the burgers are consistently perfect, whether dining in or ordering through Uber Eats. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with fast service and fresh food, making it a favorite in the Gordon Square area.
