“After my wife and I walked our aardvark (a long story for another time) around 4th St , we attempted to stop in to Society for a quick nightcap for ourselves and we hoped to score a suet snack for Antony (see aardvark, above). We were understandably turned away; they have rules.

After stashing Antony in a safe place, we returned and were joyfully greeted by Austin (or was it Lubbock? My memory fades.) who carefully concocted a delightful cocktail with Creme de Violette as the star ingredient.

A delightful time. Also, don't trust Society, she'll break your heart.“

“Great, great, great family-owned bar. Full bar, draft and bottled beer, but I didn't check the wine list. I did see a lady with what looked like wine. Great jukebox! You pick from what the owners like, but they have good taste and there were a bunch of free songs when I went there. It's like a family reunion at your fun uncle's house. Since I am usually the fun uncle, I am jealous but in the best way. Bags of chips behind the bar was the food I saw. Cash only, there was an ATM. Great drink prices. Will return to this great bar when I return to Cleveland.“

“This is a great bar, went there for a show this past weekend.
It has a great atmosphere with great personnel on staff.
The main concert area is great, and the back room is very nice for hanging out away from the crowd, especially with the wood burning oven back there!“

“The food was very good - I recommend the French onion soup and wedge. I ordered the steak rare, but like everywhere else, it was medium. We think the server forgot to put our order in because everyone had their food and were finishing eating by the time we got ours. We were almost late for the show at Playhouse.“

“I booked a table for two in the Holiday Getway room at the Velvet Tango Room. The experience exceeded my expectations! The drinks were amazing and the variety of options were impressive. The atmosphere in the private back room was amazing, private, and romantic. It's the perfect spot for a date night, anniversary, or birthday. The vibe reminded me of a cosy night in at my own house with the benefit of a private bartender, tasteful live music, and amazing/unique drinks. - The service was also amazing, we had been in the private room for 2.5 hours and didn't even realize how much time had passed. Unfortunately we had to vacate the table due to the room being rented later in the evening, but we're promptly offered a table in the main room to continue our evening!“
