Food was good. The sausage was disappointing, dry not very flavorful. Sausage gravy was average. The waffle with rhubarb/strawberry was phenomenal. Cute place. Friendly and efficient staff.

Went to meet people from work on a Saturday. It's not brunch, it's just breakfast when there's no alcohol on the menu. Had the waffles. Very, very rich and the strawberry rhubarb chutney was a bit much. My wife's biscuits and gravy was better. Get there early, this place is busy. Even though we got there before open, we waited longer than I would have liked for the food. The place has a number of "awards" and recognition on the wall. I did not see the hype. It was an okay place to get breakfast.Parking: Get there early for breakfast to ensure you can find a space.

We had brunch at Lucky's Cafe on Sunday April 14, 2024. I have so many things to say about this place, so let's just start at the beginning. We found street parking right out front. There is not a designated parking lot. For a party of two, we were quoted a 40 minute wait. After only about 15 minutes, we got a call that our table was ready. We were seated at a table right next to the kitchen door which was a bit chaotic, but worked fine for our party. Our waitress was very attentive and quickly got our drink orders. I ordered a Thai iced tea and Kevin got an iced Lucky's latte. Both very good but nothing special. For our meals we ordered the biscuits and the shipwreck. Seasonal vegetables in the shipwreck included bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Very generous portions and delicious. The fresh fruit side with the shipwreck consisted of half a strawberry, slice of pineapple, and wedge of orange. Seems like not much, but was the perfect amount of a refreshing sweet bite after the large plate of everything else. On the table was a house made sweet and smoky hot sauce that I used on every bite of the shipwreck. So delicious. Saved my last piece of toast to eat with their house made blackberry/raspberry/grape jam. Incredible. Included large pieces of fruit, which I love in a fresh jam. And I haven't even mentioned the pecan bacon*. After my first bite, I was thanking our waitress for bringing it up and telling us about it. Definitely would normally overlook getting something like that as a side dish. There are also several vegetarian options on the menu, with one dish able to be made vegan by getting the toast with no butter. We interacted with several staff members at different phases of our meal. Everyone from the hostess, to the barista, our waitress, and the other servers helping to run food/clear plates was abundantly friendly and helpful. One waiter passing by noticed us looking at the art above our table, which was an original painting from a local artist, and told us some interesting facts about the piece. Felt like a true collaborative team working to make the best experience for all guests.Overall, service was incredible and food was delicious. The only reason I am knocking one star off "atmosphere" is due to the fact that this place is not accessible for people in wheelchairs/other disabilities. You have to walk up a step just to get in the front door, and the entryway is so cramped with a pasty/coffee counter plus the host stand. The aisles are very narrow and people are constantly getting in each other's way. There is also only one single-use bathroom. Everything was just fine for us, but definitely something to be aware of if you are planning a trip here!*Pecan bacon comes with 3 pieces, but I got too excited as soon as the plate came out!Want to try: cinnamon roll, blueberry smoothieVegetarian options: A few options including waffles and macaroni & cheese. One dish able to be made veganWheelchair accessibility: None. Steps to get in the building and narrow walkways with more steps inside.

Friend took me here for lunch and boy was it a treat! It's a cozy little Cafe tucked away in Tremont and if you like cats, the cat Cafe is just a hop, skip, and a jump away too! ❤️

Lucky's Cafe, a quaint restaurant in Tremont where everyone should eat. Great service, delectable pastries, and a great breakfast menu. Went for breakfast on Easter and had a fun experience when me and my family had the opportunity to pick from an Easter egg for a prize. Lucky's Cafe, a treasure for the city of Cleveland.

Lucky's is outstanding! I have been twice in the last year and it never disappoints. The quality of the food is far above many other places in the Cleveland area. House made condiments and bakery are of impeccable quality. You can tell with each bite that the owner and chefs truly loves what they do. Service was excellent and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend Lucky's Cafe! If I could give it another star I would!Kid-friendliness: I have three little ones. Had no problems with them here and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! A+ Kids will enjoy the variety of yummy drinks and the food!

The food here is phenomenal! You can tell that everything is made fresh and they care about the quality. The pastries felt like the stars of the show, to be honest. The pecan bacon is a must try, it isn’t overly sweet which is why it’s so good! It’s a very cute breakfast spot that everyone should try at least once! However, be warned that they refuse to split checks

Lucky’s is an amazing Cleveland gem! The Mac and Cheese with applesauce is the best I have ever had. The selection of coffees and pastries are also stellar. Service is always a 10/10.

The food was good but extremely overpriced. Place is very noisy and small. Service was merely OK. Simply too expensive. Not worth returning to with so many other good restaurants

Visited Lucky's Cafe for an early lunch on a Friday. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overly crowded and we seated immediately. Our server very pleasantly and promptly introduced herself, and explain the specials to us. We had a lovely small table right next to the window Streetside. It was a gorgeous day outside and lots of folks were about it was fun people watching. Entrees ordered included the curry chicken sandwich and the Best Thing I Ever Ate, Michael Symon, biscuits and gravy. The chicken salad was very tasty accompanied by some fresh chips and a small fruit garnish the chicken and gravy entree for breakfast or lunch was very generous the biscuits had a very unique flavor, served with hash browns which were probably the big oops on the plate and fresh grapes. The hash browns were rather flavorless. A bottle of homemade hot sauce was served along with the entrees which is available to purchase and I thought it was very good. There are many other tasty dishes on the menu that appealed to us as well. It's hard to pass up the pastry case as you leave the restaurant and it's a great place just to stop in and grab a latte and a pastry if you're headed elsewhere. Charming little restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch.

Sarah was amazing! I didn’t get the gentleman’s name that helped us but he was great too! The atmosphere was the best and the coffee was the best part to me because of the little extra touches like the design Sarah made on the top. My daughter and I both had the shipwreck which was very filling and actually reheated very nicely. My husband had the biscuits and said it was great but nothing special. Sarah was what really made driving across Cleveland and finding parking worth the drive.
