My husband knocked it out of the park for our Valentine’s day reservation this year. Not only was that the best eggplant parmesan I’ve ever had, but right from the get go the hosts were GREAT. Set us up for a lovely dinner with a personable server and top notch Italian. Eggplant parmesan and the special truffle pasta dish made me forget I was in Cleveland—LOL

I had a reservation at 8:30PM and we showed up on time and checked in. The restaurant was absolutely packed. Guests were crammed into the main dining area waiting for their reservations, hovering over the guests that were dining. About 45 minutes passed beyond my reservation time and I checked with the host for an update and was told they hadn’t even gotten through their 8:00PM reservations. At this point, my husband and I decided to leave because our wait had no end in sight. It has now been several times that I have had to wait 45min- 1hr+ beyond the time of my scheduled reservation. The restaurant has no respect for their guests’ time. They overbook the reservations and are completely unapologetic. They DESPERATELY need to upgrade their reservation and seating system and pay for OpenTable. At the very least, this would allow for their guests to walk to another venue for a drink while they wait for a text that their table is ready. This would also relieve the main dining area of the guests that are waiting for their reservation and allow for a more relaxed/ less chaotic dining experience for those sat in the entryway. This is coming from someone who worked at a very successful winery, and I offer this suggestion sincerely. Mia Bella’s food is always fabulous and I have always raved about this restaurant being my favorite in the area but due to their consistent lack of care or attention to guest experience, I’m so sad to say that we won’t be back.

The food is good, always is. The service on the other hand is terrible. I have been twice and each time I show up with a reservation and when I check in they say it will be a couple of minutes. The both times I have been, it’s taken them over an hour to seat me and my party of two. We stand by the bar trying to get drinks and the bar tenders refuse to even look our way. We sat there for over an hour for our table and we couldn’t get more than two drinks due to service. On top of that, you would go check in with the hostess to see the status and they would brush you off. On the other side, once you get seated - the waiter/waitress has always been a delight. It is the process of getting seated with a reservation that is so infuriating and trying to get the bartenders to get us a drink. Good luck.

for sure deserves it 10/10! We sat right in front of the restaurant by the windows looking directly onto the street and loved it, got to people watch a bit on a surprisingly busy Thursday night. Ambiance of the place is great, dim lighting but you have your own table light to adjust as you see fit. We went for an early Valentine's Day dinner and had the ricotta+honey bread/ a seafood Alfredo/ lobster ravioli +shrimp / truffle mash/ brussel sprouts. Everything was 10 out of 10. Truffle mash may have actually been 9 out of 10 only because the truffle doesn't punch you in the face, but you can still taste and still delicious. We almost left without dessert because of cornos next door, but DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT THE BKLAVA CHEESECAKE! SO GOOD! Will definitely be back. Service can feel a little slow at times only because it gets busy and they let you enjoy your food but by no mean affected our enjoyment!

Went on Superbowl Sunday which I imagine was the slowest they've ever been. Maine Lobster Ravioli was fantastic, I don't drink. Four stars for atmosphere because while the tiny table lights were cool, the music was a mix but mostly classic rock, which seems odd for elevated Italian. I'm happy to say it did not take away from the experience. Most importantly, our waiter was so kind, took care of things that instant, and God bless him for the 20 things he recited from perfect memory at the beginning. Molto bene🇮🇹

Visited this restaurant for lunch. Bread service was fresh and soft and had great flavor. Menu on their website is outdated. I specifically came for the bucatini bolognese but it was no longer available. Instead I got the Lunch Ragu which did come with bucatini noodles instead of the rigatoni noodles as the photos show online (that was a plus) I love bucatini noodles!!! This dish was very spicy although it did not not mention spicy on the menu. Sauce had great flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection. However the spice level did prevent me from being able to enjoy the meal.
Overall I had a great experience. I think anyone who loves a meaty sauce with some heat would really enjoy this dish!

Mia Bella has some insane stuff on special too- every night. Don’t go here thinking they just have little Italy Italian staples. Much more than that. The chef is a true chef and has so many off menu items it’s insane. 5 stars and the best restaurant in cleveland
