Celebrating my 71st birthday at Morton was the RIGHT place, could have gone to several places, so glad I chose here. Greeted by Les with a warm smile and great spirit. Max, our server was on top of everything
Our server, Bob was exceptional. Friendly and authentic without being over the top. Ambience was great, busy but quiet. Food was exceptional - we split a filet and lobster tails and both were exceptional. Was especially pleasantly surprised at lobster- some of best I've had. Lobster bisque was some of the best as well. Their onion bread is tops. Sides were equally delicious- augratin potatoes, and spinach and mushrooms were perfect. The only minor thing was dress code. We went there for my birthday, party of 5. They messed up where our main dishes went by the seating. They didn't bring all the sides out at the same time, the last two were cold, potato au gratin and brussel sprouts. The A/C was extremely cold in the room we were in, everyone was complaining about it, not just our group, no one did anything about it. I'm glad they updated it inside but it looks like they still have a way to go. Not worth over a $1000 dinner
