Very disappointed in the whole experience. Spent 35 for 5 potato cakes, a bag of pierogies and a bag of haluski. The pierogies were NOT homemade. They were Mrs T's cooked and resold. The haluski had a horrible after taste. The entire family loves haluski and none of us ate it. We had to throw away the entire bag, this was after trying to add butter chicken broth. There was nothing that could help. The potato pancakes were pretty good, but overall I would rate my experience a 2/10.

Went to west side market today: got pierogis, hulushki and potato cakes. The pierogies look nothing like these pictures. They were not homemade and resembled a store-bought pierogi. The hulushki was horrible, had a vinegar sour taste. Insane to look at these pictures and comparison to what we received I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the pierogies.

We have been getting our pierogies here for almost twenty years but have noticed that they have become more dough and less filling over the past several years. They also run out of flavors fast at West Side Market so I called today to try to order a couple dozen and the man on the phone was very rude with his tone. I don’t care if you are overworked for the holiday, be nice to your customers! Never going back here. K & K Portage Market on Warren Road near West Side Market or Gibbs Butcher Block in Olmsted Falls will now be our go-to pierogies place.

My husband and I love this stand at the WSM. The sweet angel that runs the stand has always had the BEST recommendations, is so kind and remembers little things about you. Our favorites have been the bourbon chicken, crab rangoon, loaded baked potato and mushroom & cheese. Highly recommend!

While the selection wasn't vast, what they did have, hit the taste bud nail on the head!!! The cabbage roll was so flavorful, I should have gotten more! The pierogies were incredible! The dough was wonderfully tender and delicious!

We paid $20 for a dozen uncooked pierogi. The lady was rude. We choose 4 different flavors (potato/cheese, potato/onion, potato/cheese/bacon, potato/kraut), had her split them up 2 flavors per bag. We pointed to the flavors we wanted. Watched her pull from each labeled bag. We came home and cooked them. Some were missing the dough on one side. They were ALL PLAIN POTATO. Bland and doughy. What a scam. Don’t fall for it. I’m Polish. I will stick to making my own.

First time learning about and trying Pierogi's . As a Kiwi they remind me of mini bakery pies. Thank you Miss Helen for a great first experience. Really enjoyed taking the pierogi's home to cook up and eat based on what we learned from you. They yummy as!

Looking for perogies, found this stand. Bought potato and cheese...no cheese. Very little filling. Didn't resemble the picture shown. They looked stamped out. Won't buy again. I'll go to Parma.

Stuffed cabbage delicious! Well-seasoned & quality meat used. Owner gave me 2 cabbage 4 price of one as she said only had small ones left! Potato pancakes very tasty as well. Did not try pierogi.

I have been a loyal customer for many years until today. The woman at the West Side Market location literally wouldn’t serve me because I was on the wrong side of the counter waiting in line. The other people actually said “she was here before me” and she still wouldn’t serve me!!!!! And was rude about it as well!!! We were going to get 9 cabbage rolls and 2 dozen pierogi. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! We spend at least $35 a week there. Do the math. You just lost a great customer.

Huge, delicious pierogi in any flavor you can imagine. Savory options as well as sweet. Normally this stand is very busy so be patient. It's well worth the wait. The owner is personable and kind and recommended I try the potato o'brien flavor when she was all sold out of my favorite flavor and now potato o'brien is hands down my favorite. It takes me about an hour to get to the west side market and again, these are well worth the wait.

I've had and made a lot of pierogies and these are by far the best around. It's no wonder though, with the quality of the amazingly patient and friendly owner. My wife and I decided to play Pierogie Roulette and get a dozen mixed of their top sellers and cook them all together. Everybody won.
