Presti's is a local gem in Little Italy.
The first thing you need to know is don't neglect to take a number.
Everything we had was quite decadent. The daily panini was a Monte Cristo. It was very good & the portion size was incrediblely generous.
The service was no-nonsense but fast and efficient.
We were in a bit of a hurry, but I could see spending a long, enjoyable morning longing on their sidewalk while sampling some of the delicious backed goods on offer.
Best tiramisu, and the early servers are very nice! Very crowded during lunch time. I can tell why. It's the diamond place of little Italy.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE PRESTI'S! We live 45 minutes away and drive over regularly. We have also ordered many things for parties and everything is always great! Most recently I had ordered 6 dessert Trays for my daughter's Bridal Brunch. Someone had partially blocked the drive so we couldn't back in and make the pick up process easy. It was pouring rain and they had us just pull up along side the bakery and they brought everything out! Can't recommend Presti's enough. It's a very good thing we don't live close or I'd weigh a lot more!
Honestly, it was too early in the morning for me to give a detailed review.
I had their coffee and tiramisu.
I pre-ordered a dozen canoli's I went into pick them up and was told by a young lady when I went to the counter that even though I pre-ordered I would have to take a number and wait my turn. I waited almost 40 minutes before it was my turn. A gentleman went up to the counter while I was waiting and told one of the workers he placed an order and wanted to pick it up and the young man gladly took care of him before calling the next number.
The young man who took care of me when it was finally my turn was super nice.
Fast in and out and you can taste the quality and love in all their food. Please keep doing all you do and the hard work pays off.
Love this place. We've been here multiple times. They should have more flavors of gelato.
Wow! So good
Went in on Saturday May 10th around 2pm. There was a long line which was fine. There was guy with glasses, a beard, and a cap behind the counter. I haven’t experienced service this terrible in a while. First we took a number and moved to the side. That guy walked around the corner to deliver an order to a table. We saw him and moved out of his way immediately. He made it a point to stop from where we had moved, sigh and roll his eyes backwards so we instantly got a vibe that the guy was not happy we were there. The wait was about 40 minutes. We were excited to try some Italian ice and the iced tea that has a scoop of Italian ice in it. We had seen the guy walking around the store being very rude to other patrons. I thought we got lucky since we were being helped a different guy who looked much younger. He started helping us and when we asked for the ice, he checked in with the guy who had been rude to us already. The guy come over to the younger guy and made a big scene. Covered his face with his hand and gleefully yelled in the other guys ear ‘No, no, no, no, no while smiling and seeming to really enjoy telling a customer no multiple times like a spoiled child. He then started what I think he thought was a comedy routine at our expense. They were out of Italian ice and instead of just telling us that, he put on a gleeful performance to let us know. In case management reads this, there were two guys with beards, hats, and glasses and then a younger guy with no facial hair. The bearded guy who was rude was wearing lounge/pajama pants. I still ordered some items and tipped 20% because the younger guy wasn’t a rude ahole. It’s such a shame that the service overall was garbage because the food was tasty. That was my third time there and the first two experiences were fairly neutral. While I understand that it was busy and the guy had a lot of clients to service, we did nothing to receive that kind of behavior. There was an older lady working there and even she seemed annoyed by that guy.
The group I went with and I will not be patrons there again. The food is ok so if you’re planning on visiting, be aware that you as a paying and tipping customer may be treated like garbage depending on which staff member you interact with.
I went with 1/5 stars overall since the service was bad and because we order items that were charged by the wait. We got a box worth of things and for some reason, they did not tare the box so I ended up paying a few dollars for the box alone.
Waited 10 minutes for service while only 2 other customers were inside. Employees were too busy hugging and joking to help us. After 10 minutes of awkwardly standing in front of the counter, we walked out.

Tiramisu was delicious. The biscottis/squares are expensive and not very good. There were only 3 people before me in the line and it took ages for me to order. I would only go back if I had plenty of time to wait.
I had the chocolate mousse which wasn’t too bad and also had the tiramisu. I prefer corbos bakery tiramisu even though it’s slight more pricey.
Had a very disappointing experience today 4/26/25. The guy with glasses who helped me, was very rude! While helping me, he helped his friend who just walked in, who didn’t grab a number and didn’t wait for almost 30 minutes like I did. Did not pack my pastries, I asked him to pack the boxes, he just said bags are over there and pointed at the bags behind the counter. When I was packing my 4 boxes, he just threw the receipt at the counter. Very rude and ignorant!!!! I been coming to this place for years, today was my last time!! I’ll
Make sure all my friends and family will hear about my experience today!
Fabulous bakery selection, always a treat when we go downtown!
My grandfather lived on Murray Hill when he emigrated in the 1920s. It's but what if once was as far as authenticity, but it's still pretty racist, and that keeps me from visiting as often.
