Of the five to-go items we ordered, they left out an entree! So drove the 35 minute round trip to retrieve it. This is so lame and irritating, but I thought bad service than likely must have decent food. They can’t fall short on both can they? Yes they can.
Tahini sauce was flat with none of the typical tang and lacking in any garlic flavor…seriously tasted like they forgot both garlic and lemon juice. The Mujadara and Spicy Cauliflower, favorites of our family, we all agreed were a disappointment. Neither can hold a candle to those from the restaurant Taza and both cost less at Taza, the serving size was considerably less at Sittoo’s. Note to restaurant: go to Taza to find out what these should taste like. And to customers: If you want a nicer atmosphere, better food, and competent, well-trained service, skip this place and go to Taza. That being said, as Sittoo’s is right next to a captive audience of JCU students, given the choice of cafeteria food, they may yet survive.

To say the food is delicious it's an understatement. The chicken is soft and well spiced. The salads are flavorful. The choices are plentiful. Options for every budget, and the staff have is special attention as first time diners.
Make sure to add this place to your Cleveland experience, and don't forget to grab some baclava on your way out!
10/5 stars.

In Cleveland for medical stuff, my wife and i are on strict diets. Sittoo's had a great variety of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
We ate in, staff checked on us multiple times. Fun music playing.
It was a oasis amidst fast food we cant eat

Not impressed. We (3 of us) heard good things and tried it out on our way to an event downtown.
I also want to recognize that there were two people running the place...one at the register and one in the kitchen. I'm going to blame some of this on management not being able to properly staff their place, but...
Our order was brought out item by item, as it was ready. Salad first, then the fries about 5 minutes later, then one wrap at about 10 minutes and a second wrap at about 15 minutes. That, alone, made it feel like less of a meal. The hummus never made it out, nor would my wrap had I not asked about it after waiting more than 20 minutes (and getting it after about 25 minutes)
The food was also okay, but nothing all that great. Ironically, the best food were the fries, which were hot, and the ones which weren't coated in thyme spice were delicious. The fattoush salad was fresh, but mostly oil with minimal vinegar and spices. And a few thyme covered pita chips on top. We didn't eat much of the salad.
The wraps, again, were fresh. I liked the toasted crispiness of the wrap itself. But the meat (beef shawarma) wasn't all that flavorful, with the pickles driving most of the flavor. It was more of a sweet-pickle wrap than a beef shawarma wrap.
25 minutes to get three okay wraps, an oily salad, and some fries (and never getting the hummus, because we were on a schedule and needed to leave) wasn't really worth the trip. I love Middle-Eastern cuisine, but this isn't really a place that did it well for us.

We visited on a Friday afternoon for lunch in mid-April 2025. We were currently staying at the Glidden House hotel and the nearby museums so we walked to the restaurant instead of having to drive and park.
We were happy to find the business special for weekday lunch and it was a great deal. It was also a nice way to try a little bit of everything they had on the menu and it was delicious on top of that. My wife also really wanted to try the spicy cauliflower and glad she did. We all tried it and it was so good. The only thing that really surprised us was the chicken tenders and hummos on the kids menu. We were expecting breaded chicken tenders with a side of hummos but it was 2 grilled chicken tenders plopped on top a bunch of hummos. Our picky little one ate it but it was just very surprising.
The restaurant itself was fine with a number of people eating inside. I wouldn't call it super fancy. The atmosphere was more of that as a dive diner than a more modern or upscale restaurant. Almost like a hole in the wall fast food place. Orange or terracotta colored tiled floors and drop ceiling etc. Don't let the atmosphere deceive you though cause the food was good and the staff super nice. This was our first time and the lady answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions.
Overall we would definitely come back here again. Especially for the great business lunch special.

Staff was great, food was good. The bathroom needs a whole remodeling. The ice dispenser has visible blue algae or mold growing. Owner needs to get themselves together and seek help.

Place is so insanely overrated. It’s okay, I guess. Not cheap, not particularly good. Cleveland people have such low standards.
Tasted very fresh and had good portions. Everyone enjoyed their food.
