Amazing building and bar. Our service and food weren't as good.
We ordered a hush puppy app, but it was raw liquid cornbread mix in the center. We let the waiter know and showed him the center of liquid mix.
I got a brisket sandwich and it was terrible, the brisket was chewier than a car tire.
I never complained about the brisket despite only taking about 2 bites of it.
The wife got a Turkey sandwich she liked but neither of us liked the coleslaw it came with.
When our bill arrived I had to ask to have the raw hush puppies removed from our bill. Which our waiter did very quickly.

An excellent experience. Our server was crazy cool and made wonderful selections. All of the portions were large. The food was especially delicious! Very economical, I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came!

We hosted a private event in the back room. Tim was fantastic to work with throughout scheduling to the day of the event. The food was served buffet style and delicious. Angie and the rest of the team were extremely attentive leading to a great experience for all guests. Highly recommend Stone Mad for any small to medium sized events as well as the incredible atmosphere of the pub in the front.

Regulars and visitors are treated well by friendly bartenders. Food is excellent - try the soup of the day. Traditional UK brekkie includes black sausage which is hard to find. The place is divided into 3 sections. The front two are dark wood pubs, the first has more barstools and a couple eighties, the 2nd has a short bar, fireplace, and dining tables. The back section offers dining tables and a soccer court! Too cool.

Even if you are not Irish like myself you owe it to yourself to check this place out. They have a bar in the front and at times they have live music. Also they have 2 different dining rooms. 1 with a fireplace and dimmer lights which is very romantic and 1 that is brighter and more festive and that has a bocce court. They also have a outside patio that is all made out of Stone and it also has a fireplace. In fact they were roasting chestnuts on an open fire when I was there 2 weeks before Christmas. I had a white pizza that was very delicious. Great service.

This place is a great find. The food was delicious as we had the paprikash dip, soup, and a pretzel with curry dipping sauce. All of it was top notch. The ambiance is great with a fire going and a candle at each table.

If you live in Cleveland and you haven’t treated yourself to dinner at Stone Mad Pub, what are you waiting for??!!
OMG—-first of all, we met Bartender Joe. He read me like a book—made me a perfect martini.
If you read my reviews, you know I require pure food prepared with heart and soul. Joe adjusted my order just the way I like it.
Now, let me tell you about the food: I don’t care what obstacles we have to overcome, I want to marry the chef. He/She/They made me the MOST DELICIOUS salmon I have freakin ever had.
I love my significant other but I want to marry the chef here.
If you don’t live in Cleveland, plan a trip here just for this restaurant. We are coming back!!

We sat in the Fireplace Room, as it was our Date night. Angie was our server and was amazing, the owner, was hands on as his presents was a welcome site and he was very engaging. The food came out promptly, and very alluring to the eye. The price was very reasonable. We will be back again.

This place is fantastic! The people are super friendly, the food is very good and reasonably priced as well. We love going there and sitting out in the patio area with our dog. They are always so welcoming and pamper our pooch, which is a bonus!

I hate having to write this review because my wedding rehearsal dinner was here 7 years ago but I can't believe two experiences I've had since. One time was two years ago, a customer had a medical emergency in front of us and it was very disturbing. Not only was our server not friendly she was downright rude the entire time before and after. I was sober and pregnant and appalled by her behavior. The second experience was today. We popped in on a Saturday with our young children to show them our rehearsal dinner spot. Apparently there was a private event happening (we never saw a sign). There was a woman up front decorating witnessed us walk in to get a table and heard my children speaking she couldn't even look up to tell us they were closed. Instead a man came up and told us they were closed as we tried to sit on the patio with our very hungry 3 & 6 year old. Sadly, I will avoid coming here now. Communication and just overall friendliness make a world of a difference.
