Fun place, above average bar food, RIDICULOUSLY slow service. We finished eating before our first beer arrived!

Fun casual place in University Square district that we found while visiting the galleries at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Parking is a bit challenging during busy times. Nice mix of craft brews. Menu is typical pub fare but the food is good. Not reheated frozen stuff.

It's a straightforward college brewpub. The food is good and they have a nice collection of micro brewed beer. It's on the campus of CWRU and I think it's primarily designed to serve the university community but it is very convenient stop before a performance at Severance Hall.

I came here with my family after we went to the Botanical Gardens and we were in the mood for a burger. To start, it's not visible as a free standing place when your driving around trying to find it because its inside one of the campus buildings. Park and take a walk. The interior is fun, lots of seating and a bar. Two of us got burgers and the third member got the chicken quesadilla. The burger was solid, no muss - no fuss. I would say the size is average - I wouldn't have been able to finish anything bigger, definitely disagree that it's "small." The quesadilla was delicious. We also grabbed a beer each and they were also solid. Our server was helpful and the girl manning the bar was happy to answer our questions and give suggestions. Sitting there and seeing the students made me feel nostalgic in a good way. Great place to check out!

Hours do not match on Google and Yelp so we walked there to see if they were open. It's not apparent that it's inside of a building on the college campus so we actually walked past it first. It's unclear if just anyone can go in (appeared as thought it was taken over for a sorority event) or if it's a college dining option. Ended up going elsewhere.

Great in house beers at an unbeatable price. $4.50 a pint. Food and service are okay as they have a lot of student employees but it never takes away from the experience. Definitely my go to spot to grab a drink or socialize in university circle. Just wished they were open a bit later.

Fairly typical but good pub food. Always good service from the student workers. Background music a bit loud.

A great casual eating place with beer made on site ! Comfortable. Inviting. Excellent food and service.
I can only speak for their meal plan options. That said, this might be one of the best ways to use a meal

We visited from out of town and found this place with good reviews not realizing it was on a college campus. Having never been before, it was still relatively easy to find. Great beer and food at great prices!

Nice place to relax tucked into an unrelaxed college building. I could actually see brain smoke in there. The beers were all pretty good. The nitro stout had good flavor but was a little thin. They were out of their very popular lager. The Jolly Belgian Tripel was right on if you like the Belgian style.Pretzels were a little chewy, which is usually good. But they were also a little dense. All of a sudden I'm a pretzel connoisseur. Falafel promised greatness and delivered. Didn't try anything more serious.

Courtney is by far the most flawless bartender you could ever hope for. I received some of the worst transpondence possible, yet she made my feelings feel heard, while also juggling several other patrons. Her ability to empathize while taking care of every other customer is unmatched. I will be going back if just to have hopes of someone as incredible as her, or at least the same, most excellent beer on tap

Jolly's decline in the past 2 years has been unimaginable. Used to have great chicken sandwiches with tons of meat. This is dry and only a quarter of what they used to serve.
