The Stone Oven on Lee Road is one of my favorite places to be. Summer is defined by their gazpacho soup, and a visit to their shop shows how much joyous life overflows from the patrons.
The courtyard in the back of the cafe is a whimsical place that perfectly pairs with one of their soup/sandwich combos or any pastry in their case.
Thanks for being a neighborhood fixture Stone Oven 💚

Great serendipitous lunch stop. Lots of sandwich and salad options. I got the Claudio on siciliano bread + an iced mocha. The bacon on the Claudio is very crispy if you’re into that. The mocha chocolate is on the bitter side but still very good. Similar mocha to Luna in my opinion. Lots of seating and windows!

Always love Stone Oven. Occasionally they get my sandwich order wrong, but overall this place is fantastic. The soups are always great and the kids love the treats!

Tried the smoked turkey, claudio, and chicken tarragon sandwiches with couscous, tabbouleh, and chips. They were all good, but we also got a chocolate croissant and a brownie.
The croissant was good, but the brownie might have been the worst I’ve ever had. It was dry, crunchy, barely chocolatey, and I ordered a plain one but got one with nuts. I would legitimately prefer box mix

We stopped in for lunch and it exceeded our expectations! We ordered a ham sandwich on focaccia bread with potato, broccoli and cheddar soup, and the Claudio sandwich with white bread. It was all spectacular! The story of how the shop started was also sweet to read inside the restaurant. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area.
I stopped there for lunch today. It was a big disappointment. The focaccia bread was stale and not very flavorful. The cookie was dry and/or stale. Sadly, the meal didn’t live up to my expectations or their higher prices.

Since I’m currently using a walker and it’s difficult to run most errands on my own I took advantage of the fact that I was out with a friend who was willing to take me wherever I wanted so we stopped at Stone Oven so I could get some goodies for the next few days. We had just had lunch but I really like your chicken curry salad and wanted a sandwich for the next day so I ordered a deconstructed chicken curry sandwich. The staff did not look at me like I was crazy and gave me exactly what I wanted— a croissant sliced and wrapped separately, chips in a separate plastic box, a generous scoop of chicken salad in its own container and even a couple leaves of lettuce wrapped in wax paper. Perfect! Thank you so much. I also got a pretzel hot dog that was quite good.

We recently tried four different cupcake flavors from The Stone Oven Bakery, and overall, it was a delightful experience.
The Peanut Butter and Jelly cupcake was decadent, with a well-balanced flavor profile. The richness of the peanut butter paired beautifully with the fruity sweetness of the jelly, and the cake itself was wonderfully moist.
The Cookies and Cream cupcake was another standout. The cake was moist, and the addition of an Oreo cookie on top was a nice touch, adding both texture and extra flavor.
The Bananas Foster cupcake, however, didn’t quite wow me. While it was enjoyable, it lacked the boldness I expected from such a classic dessert-inspired flavor.
The Red Velvet cupcake was my personal favorite. It was packed with flavor, and the cream cheese frosting was some of the best I’ve ever had—smooth, tangy, and perfectly complementing the cake.
Beyond the cupcakes, the delivery experience was excellent. They delivered straight to my job, and the delivery person was kind, talkative, and very upbeat, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, The Stone Oven Bakery offers a solid selection of cupcakes with standout flavors and great service. I’d definitely order from them again!

Quaint little place busting with action and flavor. Nice size portions, plenty of options and friendly guests. There is a dog at the next table…order at the counter and grab a seat.

Went here with my suitemates, the food was very good :) I recommend the egg sandwich from the breakfast menu and the tiramisu. It’s so soft and the flavoring is beautiful!! The staff are also very nice. It’s a busy place!

Evening hours post covid still too restrictive, but still the best ambience around.
I ordered and enjoyed a delicious half tuna sandwich and bowl of curry rice soup! Although the restaurant was very crowded the service and quality of food was very good.
