Watched some of the Women's Euros here, absolutely love that there is a women's sports bar here! Food we had was fantastic, drinks were good and the service was excellent.

My daughter brought me here for brunch on Father's Day, and we couldn't have been happier. We'd been wanting to try The W forever, and it was outstanding. She had the French Toast, I had the chicken and waffles (both of which were delicious), and we watched the Sky vs. Sun WNBA game. We can't wait to come back, and highly recommend The W to everyone.

I wish google would allow for half star reviews, because my experience wasn't as high as a 4, but not as low as a 3. Went for the first time yesterday, specifically for the Wimbledon final, as there was an Instagram post about it. I guess I was expecting more of an event, but aside from a Tennis in the Land poster and some stickers on the table (along with the match on the tv of course) this wasn't an event at all. As we had come from about 30 minutes away on the idea it was an event, this was a bit disappointing, but definitely our error, as perhaps we misunderstood the post.
The bar has two rooms---one with the bar and some tables, and another that is all tables with a HUGE screen for sporting events. There were also numerous tv's around both rooms and there isn't a seat in the place that doesn't have a good view of the tv's!
The bar and restrooms were also very clean, which of course is a huge plus!!
There wasn't a great beer selection (typical domestics and some of the more general crafts) but nothing special. Interesting cocktail menu. I ordered a Bloody Mary and specifically asked if the mix was homemade, as homemade mix is usually delicious. I was told it was homemade but unfortunately it tasted as though someone dumped a jar of pasta sauce over ice. It was not drinkable. Despite only having a sip, was still charged for the $10 Bloody Mary. My friend and I ordered 4 other alcoholic drinks in total so it's not like we were taste-testing things and not drinking them.
My friend and I also ordered food at the same time (we were at a table together). She ordered a flatbread and I ordered wings. She said hers was ok. I ordered basic hot wings and they had good flavor. Unfortunately, our orders came out about 10 minutes apart, with the flat bread arriving first. Orders placed together at a table should come out together, or at least have an explanation of why they aren't.
Our server was nice but not overly attentive---we had to request water to be refilled multiple times. There were not a lot of the tables filled in the second room where we were, so not sure if she was busy on the other side, or just not a go-getter. She also did not check on us after our food was delivered (she didn't bring it, runners did). Again, perhaps she was busy, but the service lacked.
I love the concept of a women's sports bar! Super great idea and so many events that may not usually be shown at other establishments likely would be shown here. However the concept alone is not enough for me to come rushing back. Might give it another try someday, and would hope to see better service and better drinks.

Stopped in with my partner for a quick app and drinks and everything was so good! Their Caesar salad has a soft boiled egg and it was actually one of the best Caesar’s I’ve had! The bartenders were so cute, the vide was so friendly and the space is so inclusive! Cant wait to come back and catch a game!

I stopped in with my partner and we LOVED THIS PLACE! Tasty brunch with a build your own bloody Mary, and they had soccer, basketball and more on the TVs.
I had such excitement about the prospect of a new spot in town that touted their ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. As someone with auto-immune, it's exceptionally challenging to find an establishment that has a one item on the menu I can eat, let alone several. So when I heard about W, I was STOKED. My partner and I went yesterday starving and ready to eat some wings, pizza, and pickle chips. But we just couldn't even get acknowledged as patrons in this establishment. We walked in, no one greeted us. We stood around waiting for a table to open, no one approached us. We even locked eyes with several workers who were near the bar register goofing around. Which is cool, but restaurants are a customer-centric business model and making sure patrons are taken care should be first priority. Finally, I approached one of the servers who let me know that the tables were full due to a BINGO event but there are open tables on the patio which we were absolutely receptive to using. So we were escorted out by her with some menus. But then we sat outside by ourselves for an obscene amount of time with no one coming out to even take our drink order. Eventually, we walked off the patio and across the street to neighboring business that was responsive and quick with both service and food. I am all for female entrepreneurs with new fresh business ideas opening businesses in Cleveland (I am one myself) but the female empowerment narrative does not make up for a lack in customer service. I'm really disappointed in this establishment. Do better.
UPDATE: The response from the owner takes a personal dig at my “looking frustrated”??? A) wasn’t frustrated -only confused why no one would acknowledge us. And B) honestly who wouldn’t be FRUSTRATED with literally no one acknowledging you in a business that is central to customer experience?
No, you clearly didn’t live up to my standards for hospitality and your response to honest feedback leaves little to be desired as well.

Classic and well executed bar food, especially the wings and chips. Good drinks and most importantly a friendly queer atmosphere playing women’s sports !!!

I really like this place a lot. They really nailed the theme of a women’s sports bar. Even beyond that, it’s just a good sports bar in general. The food was great, the beer and cocktail menu had good options and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!
