We had dinner at White Oaks tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I splurged on the twin lobster tails. The very generous sized tails, served with drawn butter, were perfectly cooked, fresh and wonderful. My sides of vegetables and twice baked potato were equally yummy. Dessert was a wonderful creme broulee. Service was spot on professional. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.

Granted, we were a large party of 12 but drinks ordered were not all taken at the same time and took about an hour just to get our salads served. Our group has been coming here for a few years now at Christmas time. I think most of us were disappointed.

White Oaks is a special experience. The setting is great overlooking a wooded bird sanctuary and creek. Food is exceptional, as is the service.
Ok. So, just called there to find out if they are accessible. People really need to be more accurate about their accessible logos. White Oaks is NOT accessible. There are stairs leading into the restaurant. That is NOT accessible. Wheelchairs do NOT go up steps. Please adjust this.

Wonderful experience, the best meals we’ve had in a while and the waitstaff was excellent. I absolutely loved the ambiance. It’s a beautiful restaurant with so much history. The hostess was not welcoming on the phone or in person but the rest of the experience was perfect. We will definitely be back.
I would rate this place higher than five stars if I could. Stylish, sophisticated, perfectly tuned to an adults night out. Food was perfect, service was attentive and perfectly helpful. In Love.
Kid-friendliness: Not a place for little kids. Teens would be fine.
Great Place, Always one of my faves. I took my grown kids to share a birthday and the experience with them. Only disappointment was that when making reservation, I requested. the main dining area, near the windows , but ended up in the side banquet room. After checking, there were several empty tables in dining rooms. Not near the ambiance. Service and food were great.
Food and service were excellent. I have eaten here before in the nice dining room on lower level.. Even though they opened at 5 and I had a reservation at 5, we came in and the entire nicer dining room was filled. I asked how could it be it is not even 5. I was told even though they open at 5 they seat people early which was reason dining room was full. The bad thing is I did not tell anyone at restaurant it was our 50th wedding anniversary so even more disappointed we did not get the nicer dining area. We had the one in which you look down on the roof. I caution anyone that comes here in future to be sure to tell them you want a reservation for lower much nicer dining room and if you think they open at 5 get there by at least 4:30 or you may be disappointed.
