First time at Xyz with my boyfriend on a Saturday night, what an AWESOME experience. Chatted with Katie, Harris and Ken, couldn’t have asked for a better time. Great food, great people, great vibes. Will definitely be back!

Found this place when I searched for best places to eat in Cleveland while we were on vacation and this one had good reviews and realistic prices so we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! It was a warm and inviting atmosphere for being mostly a bar with extra seating. You felt like you were at home and all the staff treated you like you were family or a good friend and they looked happy to be there even though it got a bit busy when we had gotten there. Service was excellent, food was delicious, my husband got the ribs and he was in love. I tried the bbq sauce as I'm really picky about bbq sauces and it was delicious! The skull shaped cornbread was so good. I had a turkey club sandwich with the chips and the French onion dip is a must have. Great experience, we will definitely be back next time we are up in Cleveland!

I really don’t like to give negative reviews I came in at 2 PM on a Sunday and the bartender threw menus at us was extremely condescending. It was such a negative experience. We literally just left.

As a host of a special family event, I could not praise XYZ Tavern more for not only their food, but also their attentiveness and service. The planning process was incredibly easy! The service and food were excellent! So much in fact, many guests complimented the entire experience and left wanting to return. I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you XYZ for making such a special moment perfect!

This used to be my family's favorite place for lunch in Cleveland. However, I am terribly sad to say that the quality of food has slowly decreased over time. Items like their Salmon BLT used to have a hearty piece of juicy pork belly, but now has regular bacon. The fantastic chicken and waffles now has smaller portions with poorer waffle batter and bland chicken. Other items have been treated similarly. Sure the drinks are well priced and the service is great, but my wife and I used to come here almost every other week from the other side of Cleveland for years.

Great eatery and bar in Gordon Square .... loved the vanilla porter and the walleye sandwich! Reasonable prices.
