Tanisha has been an absolute pleasure. She’s kind, pleasant and skilled. We came in with a larger party for my sons 19th birthday and Tanisha served us all with patience and warmth. We love coming to Zanzibar as a family. All of the hosts bartenders and servers were exceptional and Tanisha stood out even still. Thanks so much for the lovely experience.

Our waitress was amazing. It was my daughter's 21st birthday and she made the day special. One thing I didn't like was the fried green tomatoes had a thick batter on them that made them hard to eat.

Idk if we went on a bad day or what, but OUR ENTIRE DINNER WAS TRASH!!!!! My husband and I are from out of town, so we were very excited to try Zanzibar. NEVER AGAIN! It was a total waste of $147. We had the gumbo that was served with dried out sausage on top and tasted old and like Zatarans rice, The salmon cakes were just plain awful with scorched gravy and dried out old mushrooms on top, both the pork chop and turkey chop tasted like they were fried in old grease and again served with the scorched gravy, the greens were watery tasting and the mac n cheese was HORRIBLE! H O R R I B L E!! The only thing that was edible were the catfish fingers and that's because we dipped them in the sauce they came with for flavor. Now the kool-aid drinks were delicious and our waitress, Bailey, was outstanding! Very pleasant and helpful. Although gratuity was included, we left her a very generous tip because it wasn't her fault that all the food was TRASH!!! FREAKING AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place was awesome. The food was excellent. The service was superb. In the atmosphere was pleasant. I had macaroni and cheese, and candy yams and cabbage. I had jerk chicken also because it was my birthday they gave me ice cream and apple cobbler. The servings a good size. I couldn't eat it all. So I'm eating it for dinner tonight.

Sandra was my waitress I had an amazing dining experience! Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

This is some of the best food I've had in Cleveland. The vibe is welcoming, like you are family, and Mom is in the back cooking for you. It's a blend of Southern and Caribbean cooking. The food is beautiful, delicious and made with love.
Order the Purple Rain drink, and be prepared to sing.
I rave a out food a lot but you seriously need to go try this place. I can't wait to go back.

We had reservations on Saturday to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The overall energy felt off, especially from our waitress. When she approached our table, it immediately felt as though we were an inconvenience. I asked a simple question, and her response and attitude confirmed the feeling our party was already getting. We ultimately decided to get up and leave before even ordering. It was very disappointing, especially for such an important occasion. If that level of service is considered acceptable, this just isn’t the establishment for us.
